Article 1:
Greta Thunberg was Given €1 Million Prize

Greta Thunberg, who started a worldwide movement to encourage action on the climate
crisis, has been given the Gulbenkian Prize for Humanity, valued at €1 million ($1.14 million). Ms.
Thunberg says she plans to donate the money. Swedish teen Greta Thunberg began the climate strike
movement in 2018 by skipping school to sit outside Parliament, protesting her government’s lack of
action on global warming.

Ms. Thunberg’s protests began to get attention. Soon people were organizing
similar protests around the world. The strikes were usually held on Fridays, which the protesters
called “Fridays for Future”. Most of the protesters were young people, worried because climate
change will affect them much more than adults.

Large climate strikes have now been held in many countries. Two massive global climate
strikes, held in March and May of 2019, were attended by millions of people in over 2,000 cities and
towns around the world. Last September, 4 million people took part in another global climate strike.
The prize that Ms. Thunberg won is awarded each year to a person or group that is tackling climate

BTS Urges Young People to 'Find Your Voice'

BTS became the first K-pop group to speak at the United Nations on Sept. 24, in an effort to
empower young people. The septet arrived at the U.N. for the launch of Generation Unlimited,
a campaign “to ensure every young person is in education, training or employment by 2030.” Leader
RM took to the mic, flanked by his six fellow members -- Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook.

During the speech, RM got personal by touching on his journey to self-actualization in the
face of struggles. “I tried to jam myself into the other moulds that other people made,” he said. “Soon,
I began to shut out my own voice and listen to the voice of others. No one called out my name and
neither did I. My heart stopped and my eyes closed shut. Like this, I—we—all lost our names. We
became like ghosts. But I had one sanctuary, and that was music.”

Toward the end of the speech, RM introduced a new step to the group’s familiar “love

yourself” refrain: “speak yourself.” “I want to hear your voice,” he said. “I want to hear your

conviction. No matter where you are from, skin colour, gender identity, just speak yourself. Find your

name and find your voice.” (Forbes)

Article 5:
Why You Should Change Your Passwords Regularly

How many people really change their passwords on a regular basis? Yet updating passwords

every three to four months is a vital step in reducing the risk of having your online accounts hacked.

While passwords should be changed regularly, they also shouldn't be too simple. Forget using
your name or your kids' names, your pet's name or your date of birth, let alone obvious combinations
of letters and numbers like "123456" or "qwerty," often considered some of the world's most popular
passwords.

Another bad habit is using the same password for several online services, or just changing one

character. The first thing hackers will do is try their luck using a password they've just obtained on

other digital platforms. (New Straits Times)
