Emily and Joshua’s Milestones

 Met in August of 2011 as freshmen at Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana – Emily graduated
in December 2014 with a B.S. in Animal Science and Joshua in May 2015 with a B.S. in Food
Science both from the College of Agriculture at Purdue University.

 Emily is employed as an Animal Care Technician at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago and
Joshua is employed by Sensient Flavors and Fragrances in Hoffman Estates as a Beverage
Applicationist.

 Engaged on September 29, 2016 atop Bald Rock Mountain overlooking Penobscot Bay in Camden
Hills State Park, Lincolnville, Maine (photo left below)

Arrival and check-in at Bay Leaf Cottages in Lincolnville, Maine (See travel information)
Dinner on-site - Create your own pizza and pies for dessert. BYOB

Friday October 18th

Continental breakfast at Bay Leaf Cottages & Bistro or explore area
bakeries: Dots, Red Barn Bakery, Lincolnville General Store, or our local
coffee roaster.
(Arrival and check-in for those wishing to come Friday)

Daytime optional local activities –

Sip and taste at Cellardoor Winery, see Camden Harbor and poke through the shops, stop at Belfast Harbor and
see America’s oldest shoe store (Coburn’s), hike or drive Camden Hills State Park, take a Northwoods
Expedition with Bob the Maine Guide, go out on a lobster boat with Mike Hutchings, get some sand in your
shoes while beach-combing at Lincolnville Beach, hop the Islesboro Island Ferry and explore the island looking for John Travolta (Or fly
to/from the island!), kayak Camden Harbor or Lake Megunticook, moo with the belties at Aldermere Farm, glass blow with David
Jacobson, find Liberty Village and their old tools at Liberty Toolworks, grab a brew at Thresher's Brewery, carve at Lie Nielson

Saturday October 19th- Acadia Daytrip

Continental Breakfast at Bay Leaf Bistro
Daytrip to Acadia National Park stopping to see Penobscot Narrows Bridge en route, lunch on your own
at Carriers Seafood Shack in Bucksport, then on to Cadillac Mtn. We will park at Jordon Pond where the
LLBean free bus route is so people can get on/off where they want to sight-see or hike, take the carriage
ride or roads, bike, etc. and then we will meet back at Jordon Pond before heading back to Lincolnville.
We will stop at a local favorite restaurant for dinner on your own.

Sunday October 20th

Coffee and light breakfast options from 7:30-9:00a at Bay Leaf Cottages & Bistro

Sunday Brunch Wedding Reception

10a-1p at The View, 16 Bay View, Camden

Buffet brunch with acoustic guitar music. Attire is
“dressy” casual. The venue is a tented rooftop with
heaters – please bring a sweater, jacket, or shawl.

Afternoon: Optional sunset sail aboard a classic Schooner on
Penobscot Bay ($45pp, reservations required, dress warmly) or
take a ride on the chairlift at the Camden Snow Bowl to view the
spectacular fall foliage or proceed to Cellardoor Winery for their
Sunday wine-tasting and pairings overlooking the vineyard with a
2:30p tour of their facilities.

Casual Dinner at Jane's house (or nearby on your own) – Still eating! We’ll make some chowder plus "Ben the Sushi Guy" will do

some plates of Sushi and give us some lessons.

Monday October 21st

Continental Breakfast at Bay Leaf Cottages & Bistro or explore area bakeries: Dots, Red Barn Bakery, Lincolnville General Store, or our
local coffee roaster. Check out at your convenience – no rush!

Traveling to Lincolnville, Maine 04849

Air Travel – The closest airport is Rockland, Maine (RKD) just 15-20 min. – Cape Air flights connect through Boston (BOS). The largest regional
airport is Portland Jetport (PWM) 90 min. – direct flights with Detroit, Chicago, Philadelphia, Boston, JFK, & LaGuardia using most major airlines.
Boston Logan Airport (BOS) is a 3-4 hour drive depending on traffic. Closer but with fewer flights, are Augusta (ASA) and Bangor Airports (BGR)
each 45 min. – In Augusta Cape Air connects in with Jet Blue and other airlines in Boston. Bangor is served by Allegiant, American, Delta and United
from various hubs.
Amtrak – Train travel to Maine is via Boston’s North Station so travelers from NYC routes will transfer stations in Boston. Amtrak North Station is
about 10 min. by taxi from Logan Airport. The route stops in Portland and continues to Brunswick which is about 45 min. south of us. Enterprise will
also drop off a car at Amtrak Station in Brunswick. The Concord Coach Lines also stops at the Brunswick Amtrak Station.
Concord Coach Lines – The Midcoast Maine Route from Boston Logan or Boston Amtrak North Station will stop in Portland at the Amtrak Station
(which is about 2 miles from the Portland Jetport) before heading up the highway stopping in Brunswick, Rockland, Camden, and then at Lincolnville
