(UCUA) REPORTING SYSTEM

What is UCUA? (1)(2)

Unsafe Condition
A condition in the work place that is likely to cause
injury or property damage.

Unsafe Act cases
Performance of a task or other activity that is
conducted in a manner that may threaten the health
and/or safety of workers.

Why we need to report any UCUA observe at
Workplace? (3)

1. To ensure a minor issue is escalated before it
becomes serious.

2. To creates a CARING culture. Whenever we see or
feels that something may become risky, we show
our colleagues that we care by acting on it.

Introduction of DRB-HICOM UCUA application (3)

UNSAFE ACT,In order to encourage everyone to raise UCUA, Group Safety, Health &

NOISEUNSAFE CONDITIONEnvironment (GSHE) had collaborated with Group IT and initiated a project

AT WORKPLACE(UCUA)to establish an IT application and the pinnacle point of this initiative is the

launching of UCUA application by Dato’ Jezilee on 28th September 2021.

Our GSHE Objective (3)
1. To promote safety observation recording among all employees by

enhancing current manual method of issuance and compiling the UCUA
data ( paper to technology (IT)).
2. To ensure any harm, danger, potential risk to be highlighted earlier and
get prompt attention and fix it immediately before it become a cause of
accident.
Our Goal (3)
To ensure all DRB-HICOM operating companies have automated/online
UCUA reporting system by June 2022.

UNSAFE ACT,Who is responsible to raise UCUA? (3)

NOISEUNSAFE CONDITION1. Every employees of DRB-HICOM are responsible to report UCUA.

2. For other employees not reporting under DRB-HICOM (including

AT W(UCOURAK) PLACEcontractors or visitors), they may highlight or raise any concerns to DRB-

HICOM employees for reporting under UCUA application.

When do you need to raise UCUA ? (3)
As soon as unsafe act or unsafe condition observed, please take immediate
action (it its safe) and record observation in the UCUA apps.

Benefit of the UCUA application(3) cases

1. Prevent someone from getting hurt, and had played a role in creating a

safer working environment for employees of DRB-HICOM Group of

Companies.

2. Enhance method of reporting from manual(paper) to IT application.

3. Reduce time consuming for compiling, analyzing and preparing for

presentation.

4. User friendly and simple application.
