2017 SEASON PREVIEW, COACHING STAFF & SCHEDULE 2017 VARSITY SENIORS

A MESSAGE FROM THE HEAD COACH

Many question marks arise in looking toward the 2017 season. The graduation of 7
members from last year’s squad leaves many positions open to be filled. We have a
strong core of dedicated and motivated players returning to battle for starting positions
and playing time. The 2017 version of the Lady Jets will be led by seniors Heidy Delcid,
Julie Escobar, Janyedi Guzman, and Victoria Vargas. Juniors who are expected to make
valuable contributions are Andrea Vargas and Florence Gutierrez.

I am so proud to be able to coach and teach the wonderful young ladies of East Boston High School. I believe
it is so important to have a “family-unit” for the ladies, and I believe our program does that. We have a “no-
cut” policy, which means if you can make it through August practices and do what is expected of you in the
classroom and in practices, you will be a part of a wonderful and diverse “Sorority”.
