When you are absent on a ROTARY DAY,

ROTARY’S OBJECTIVE
The OBJECT OF ROTARY is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis
of worthy enterprise and to particular, to encourage and foster:
FIRST: The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service
SECOND: High Ethical standards in business & professions, the recognition of
worthiness of all useful occupation and dignifying of each Rotarian’s occupa-
tion as an opportunity to serve society.
THIRD: The application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian’s personal busi-
ness and community life.
FOURTH: The advancement of international understanding, goodwill and
peace through a world fellowship & professional person in the ideal of service.

DECLARATION OF ROTARIAN IN BUSINESS & PROFESSION

As a Rotarian engaged in a business or profession, I am expected to:

1.) Consider my vocation to be another opportunity to serve;
2.) e faithful to the letter & to the spirit of the ethical codes of my vocation, to
the law of my country, & to the moral standards of my community.
3.) Do all my power to dignify my vocation & to promote the highest ethical
standards of my chosen vocation;
4.) Be fair to my employer, employees, associates, competitors, customers, the
public & all those with whom I have business or professional relationship;
5.) Recognize the honor & respect due all occupation which are useful to soci-
ety;
6.) Offer vocational talents; to provide the opportunities for young people to
work for the relief of the special needs of others, and to improve the quality

ica Zita of RC Angeles Skytown for visiting us last week.
Welcome to Rotary RTN Noel Cabaero. Thank you PP Gon Ke-
hyeng for providing the Rotary Pin and Souvenir Pins for our
trip to Korea. The club wants to thank PP Tito Lagman for
accepting the chairmanship of our Christmas Party. Thank you
also to PP Tino Mercado for providing his home as the venue
for our Christmas party.
Secretary Mike Go, thank you for the very organized trip to
Korea. Thank you also to RTN Troy Hans for acting as our inter-

PARISH PRIEST ST. JUDE THADDEUS: REV. FR. DEOGRACIAS GALANG

Born May 28, 1968 in Sampaloc Manila, Rev. Fr.
Deogracias Kerr Silva Galang is currently the Parish Priest
for St. Jude Thaddeus Parish Church, Vice President of
Archdiocesan Media Apostolate Network Unlimited (AMA-
NU) Inc., and Chairman of the Board of Trustees in St. Scho-
lastica’s Academy, City of San Fernando, Pampanga. He is
also a Seminary Professor at Mother of Good Counsel Sem-
inary in Pastoral Management for Theology Students and
in General Management for Philosophy Students as well as
Board of Trustees Member in Social Action Center of Pam-
panga (SACOP), and President of Arti-Santa Rita, Inc.
Fr. Deo, as many calls him, also served as Board of
Trustees Member in Mary the Queen Academy of Pampan-
ga and Vice-President for Finance in University of the As-
sumption (UA). He was also the Director of Formation at the
Theology Department of Mother of Good Counsel Seminary
from 2007-2011. He was also Executive Director in Social
Action Center of Pampanga (SACOP) from 1999-2007 where
he spearheaded rescue and relief missions during the
heights of Mt. Pinatubo eruption.
He was nominated for Ten Outstanding Young Men of
the Philippines 2005 and recipient of The Outstanding Fer-
nandino Awards 2011.
