APRESIASI




• Apresiasi boleh didefinisikan sebagai

kajian oleh pengkarya tentang hasil karya


seni mereka. Antara faktor yang

mempengaruhi apresiasi adalah seperti


kaedah dan teknik, media dan bahan,


tema atau hal-benda ‘subject matter’

serta gaya dan stail.

• Apresiasi berkait rapat dengan


pemahaman secara kognitif yang


membantu dalam memberi penghargaan

terhadap sesuatu hasil karya seni yang


telah siap.





• Apresiasi juga adalah sebahagian


daripada proses pembentukan sikap, minat

dan kebolehan untuk membuat suatu


tafsiran atau interpretasi.

Menurut Smith (1966), apresiasi


seni memerlukan “logical

operation such as defining,


valuing and explaining”





Melalui apresiasi karya seni,


murid-murid dapat memahami

adat, tradisi, sosiobudaya,


masyarakat dan nilai sesuatu


perkara.

APRESIASI





• Kaedah penilaian dan apresiasi yang bersifat ilmiah

adalah seperti model kritikan seni oleh Edmund


Feldman.





• Empat langkah asas model apresiasi tersebut perlu


dilakukan secara berurutan iaitu Deskripsi

(Description), Analisis (Analysis), Interpretasi


(Interpretation), Pertimbangan/Penilaian


(Judgement).

• Apresiasi seni melibatkan sepenuhnya deria

manusia seperti deria rasa, sentuh,


pendengaran dan penglihatan.





• Karya seni seperti catan, lukisan, cetakan


boleh dilihat sementara karya seni arca dan

binaan boleh disentuh. Apresiasi seni secara


aktif melibatkan penggunaan bahasa untuk


berkomunikasi dengan audiens tentang apa

yang difikirkan dan dirasakan.
