ChildHood Memories
Life as an adult is full of challenges, sorrows and hardships.
Of course I also want to go back to enjoying a happy childhood because I just know how to
play and have fun without any problems to think about. I am a person who really likes to spend
time with my beloved family.
So, the experience as a child that I remember the most and the most fun is a trip to a state in
Malaysia that is full of history, namely Melaka. As we know Melaka is the state most visited by
many tourists.
because it has its own charm in terms of its history. This is the story of my childhood that can
not be forgotten but only remembered as a beautiful memory.
At the end of the school year, I felt very happy because I had finished sitting for the UPSR
exam and I am confident that I will get excellent results after a lot of effort. When I returned
home, we ate together. Since the school holidays are over started and we also haven't been
on holiday together for a long time - so Dad invited us to go on holiday to Melaka for two days
and one night.
The next day, we all woke up early in the morning and moved to Melaka. The journey took
two hours from Johor. And we arrived at 12 noon in Melaka.
Because the hotel check -in still can't be done because the time is at 3 pm later. So we are
all hungry and still haven't had lunch yet. Melaka is very famous for its very delicious spicy
sour cuisine.
After we ate, we wanted to perform the midday prayer first at a mosque full of history, the
Kampung Hulu Mosque located in the center of Melaka. The clock showed almost 3 o'clock,
so we went to the hotel to check in, the Avillion Legacy Hotel Melaka. Arriving there, my sister
and I were very happy because we had not slept in the hotel for a long time. The first thing we
looked for when we arrived here was the swimming pool. However, it was almost late in the
afternoon and we continued to lift things and bring them into the room. all are in a tired state
and plan to rest for a while in the room until 9.00 PM.
At 9.00 pm we had rested, bathed and performed prayers. So my father would take us for a
walk in the city of Melaka at night. As everyone knows, this time is a good time to see the
bustle of the city of Melaka with various tourists. , we saw colorful lights, rickshaws and many
stalls. My sister and I really wanted to ride a rickshaw because we had never ridden, so my
father asked my uncle to take us on a rickshaw to go around the city of Melaka, while my
mother and father did ride a different rickshaw. The time was very fun, we saw the beauty of
the city of Melaka at night, with a calm wind. The rickshaw turn rate was over and our family
went to A Famosa fort. strong. We used the opportunity to take pictures at the fort of A Famosa
as a shared memory. After that we went back to the hotel because it was late at night .
The next day, it was already 9 am and the swimming pool was open to everyone. My sister
and I continued to dive into the children's pool while being taken care of by mom and dad. At
that time it was so much fun we took a shower together and dad also took a shower to
teach we swam. The time was showing 11 am, so my sister and I were satisfied with the
shower and we wanted to go back to the room to pack our things before checking out of the
hotel at 12 noon.
At two o'clock in the afternoon, we went to Melaka to climb the Taming Sari tower. We lined
up and bought tickets waiting for our turn to climb the tower. Our turn arrived after 10 minutes
of queuing. I was very excited to climb this tower because we could see the beauty of the city
of Melaka from a high place. It looks like the city of Melaka is rapidly developing. After we were
satisfied to see the beauty of the city of Melaka then we went to a nearby restaurant to eat.
The last activity we did in Melaka before returning to Johor was a river cruise. At 4 pm we all
went to buy tickets and after 10 minutes we started a river cruise on the Melaka River which
is located in the middle of the city. in a boat on the river, see the beauty of the city of Melaka
while being blown by the wind. Seeing the buildings by the river and we also took pictures.
After that, we reluctantly left the state of Melaka which is full of history.
That’s my favorite childhood memory because that’s the only state Dad was able to take us
on vacation.
We are not a rich, wealthy family and can afford to go abroad but we still want to spend time
together in moderation. Now everyone is busy, I can no longer spend time with family. That is
why this is my happiest memories.
