Entry Fee: $300 per team
Minimum Drivers: Two
Maximum Drivers: Three.
No refunds on entry fee will be given unless event canceled.
The promoters reserve the right to refuse any entry.
Drivers may cross enter teams, provided they complete a separate entry form for the
separate teams.

ACCEPTANCE OF ENTRIES
Maximum 25 Team Entries will be accepted
Minimum 20 Teams; should Entries not reach 20 fully paid entries organizers have The right
to postpone or cancel the event. Refund of paid entries will be given should the event not
proceed.
Team names are to be of tasteful nature, organizers have the right to instruct a name Change if
they feel it’s needed.
ELIGIBILITY OF DRIVERS
Drivers must be over the age of 16 at the time of race meeting. Drivers must satisfy organizers
of their ability to compete prior to the race start. This will occur throughout the practice and
qualifying sessions. Any driver the organizers deem unfit for competition will not be allowed
to compete.
CHANGE OF DRIVERS
If a change of driver or relief driver from the ones nominated on the entry form is required
after the publication of the program, the consent of the stewards must be obtained.
EQUIPMENT
Eligibility of equipment will be the current Formula Rotax 125, Fireball, Leopard, engines.
One Chassis, two Engines, Tyre Mojo D2 Dry Wet weather MOJO W2 max 2 sets
Max 2 sets dry treys to be used during the event.
Any worn parts may be replaced.
Chassis and Engines must be scrutineer-ed,
Wheel changes are to be made by hand tool only i.e. no air or electric tools.
DRIVERS
Number of drivers per team: Minimum Two Maximum Three
QUALIFYING
Will consist of 1 x 15 minute timed session per weight division.
The combination of both timed sessions with fastest kart [ irrespective of weight div] to
the front slowest to the rear. Weighing of karts is compulsory during this session
FORMAT OF RACING
Single Race
Placing determined by finishing positions at completion of 300 Laps or number of laps
completed if race is stopped for any reason prior to 300 laps being completed.
Starting grid will be determined by the qualifying shoot-out
Length of timed qualifying will be 15 minutes/class.
Length of race will be 300 laps.
The race will have a standing start
WINNER OF EACH CLASS
The first kart to complete 300 laps as determined by the timing system will be declared the
outright winner. Subsequent placing will be determined by the finishing positions, within
each class, at the completion of 300 laps based upon the number of laps completed as
determined by the timing system.
If the race is stopped, prior to 300 laps being completed, and not restarted, the finishing
positions will be highest number of lap completed within each class as determined by the
timing system.
Should the race be stopped after 225 laps being completed, it shall not be restarted. The
finishing positions will be the highest number of laps completed within each class as
determined by the timing system
Should the leading kart not have completed 300 laps by 5.00 pm then the black and white
chequered flag shall be given to the kart having completed the most laps at 5.00 pm, and that
kart shall be declared the outright winner. The highest number of laps will determine
subsequent placing

NOTE: Times are estimates only and may vary. It is the driver’s responsibility to check and to
keep them informed of any changes.
SCRUTINEERING scrutineers before
Scrutiny: All competing karts must be submitted to the
Practice, and thereafter, including post-race scrutiny.
Impounding: Any competing kart, regardless of its place, may be impounded by the
organizers at conclusion of qualifying, Qualifying shoot-out and its race.
Accidents and Scrutineer: Any body damage incurred during practice or Racing may
necessitate the kart being given the mechanical defect flag and returning to the pits forthwith f
or examination by the scrutineers. Following rectification (if any) such kart may rejoin the r
ace at the discretion of the Clerk of Course upon advice from the Chief Scrutineer.
PRACTICE
Scrutineering is Compulsory
No vehicle will be permitted to practice or race without first having been passed by the
scrutineers.
RACING
Starters Orders: Drivers and karts ready for the start of the race are under the orders of the
Starter from the moment when the “one minute” signal is raised until the start. In no case
shall the starting signal be repeated.
Delayed Start: In the event of it being necessary to hold or delay the start a board showing t
he words “Delayed Start” shall be displayed, and the flag shall be furled if it has been
raised. If the starting procedure recommences, it shall be from the “one minute
signal”.
Signaling: Only two people per kart continuing in the competition is allowed on the track
side of the pit counter.
Pit Area: During the course of an event no equipment is to be left in the pit lane adjacent to a
competitors pit.
Circuit Breakdown: All karts to be brought back to the pit area by recovery vehicle only.
Should a kart breakdown on circuit due to a minor breakage, the driver may effect repairs if
possible, once he has positioned himself in a safe position. The position will be covered by a
yellow flag. Once repairs have been made the driver can re-enter the race with safety. The
pick up vehicle will be dispatched once the field has come under control of the Safety Kart, if it is
obvious that repairs cannot be made on track, the kart will be returned to the pits
FUEL
NO MOBILE PHONES PERMITTED IN PIT AREA
Fuel will be Premium Unleaded Fuel available from regular fuel outlets
Standard production fuel tank of 10 litre maximum capacity is to be used with a
standard screw cap, refueling must be gravity fed, using refueling equipment supplied.
WEIGHTS
Drivers and karts may be weighed at any time during the course of the race. Each Driver and
kart must meet the class weight.

TIMING SYSTEM
The timing system used for timed practice and for racing will be the AMBTranX160 system.
Each competitor must provide a plastic mounting bracket affixed to the front of the kart to
which the AMB transponder will be fitted. It is the competitors’ responsibility to ensure the
transponder is fitted in the correct position, furthermore, it is the competitors responsibility to
ensure the transponder is fitted to the kart each time it leaves the grid for timed practice and
racing.
Should the timing system fail at any time for any reason whatsoever, the race will be red
flagged and the race order for the restart or results will be shown on the most recent printout.
Such printout should be done every 15 minutes.
Should a teams transponder fail they will be credited with laps equivalent to time from the
point at which the transponder ceased to function to the time they rejoin the race with a
replacement transponder. The method used for determining the number of laps to be credited
will be to take an average lap time based on the team’s performance immediately prior to the
failure of the transponder.
AWARDS
First, Second and Third place getters in each weight division will be presented
With trophies.
RADIO COMMUNICATION
No radio or mobile phone communication between kart and pits will be allowed.
PIT STOPS
SPEEDING IN PIT LANE WILL BE PENALISED
1/ There will be a COMPULSORY TYRE CHANGE, to occur at the drivers/teams
discretion prior to the completion of the 290 laps. Teams will be required to change ALL
4 tyres, this can be either a complete separate set or the SAME tyres can be used, if so
the tyres must be completely removed and placed on the ground BEFORE replacing
on kart. Teams are to advise the grid Marshall immediately PRIOR to the proposed stop
to ensure procedure is followed. The Tyre change MUST be carried out in the teams pit
bay NOT on the apron & and refueling MUST be a separate action.
2/ Only three persons, including the driver, are permitted to work on the kart at any time
within the Pit Apron whilst participating in the event. Only minor repairs are to be
carried out on Pit Apron. Major repairs, Tyre changes must be conducted on a stand inside
team pit area.
3/ FUEL: Must be gravity fed from supplied equipment Refueling must be carried out on pit
apron only.
4/ Kart engines must be STOPPED, and driver MUST be out of the kart whilst refueling and
repairs are carried out
5/ Karts judged to be traveling at excessive speed while entering or exiting pit lane may
receive a STOP/GO penalty. This will be shown to a kart by way of a STOP/GO board with
kart number displayed and driver must come in within two laps. The kart must come to a full
stop at the weigh scales and proceed slowly down pit lane and rejoin the race with care
6/ Work on karts is permitted during a race stoppage.
7/ NO driver is to do more than 90 LAPS in ANY ONE SINGLE STINT BEHIND
THE WHEEL & there is to be NO double stints Safety Kart periods will be included in
drivers STINT if no driver change occurs during this SK period total laps by this driver
must not exceed 90, this includes any driver who cross enters. Teams found in breach of
this rule will be DISQUALIFIED from the event.
SAFETY KART
* A safety kart WILL be employed during the event.
* It will be deployed at the discretion of the race director and or stewards of the event
ONLY.
* The Safety Kart [ SK] when deployed will pick up the outright on track leader of the race
and position itself in front of this kart. ALL karts will line up in single file behind SK in the
order they reach the SK and remain in that position until the green flag releases them.
* There will be NO passing of the SK, unless instructed to.
* There will be NO passing whilst under the SK control, unless the kart in front leaves the
circuit via the pit lane, or visibly suffers a mechanical failure and stops on track.
* In the event of the SK being unable to pick up the leader of the race immediately, drivers
will be indicated by the SK driver to overtake and rejoin at the rear of the field.
* Laps under the SK will count as RACING laps.
* Pit lane will remain OPEN whilst SK is on track.
* Karts rejoining the circuit after a pit stop will do so at the REAR of the field, there will be
NO attempt to join midfield.
* SK will not wait for karts not in position when restart is ordered.
* There will be NO MINIMUM NOR MAXIMUM laps under the SK.
* Flashing yellow and red lights on the flag point lights will indicate a SK is been
deployed.
* All karts are to keep pace with the SK and keep a min 1 kart length gap between karts and
no more than 2 kart gap between.
* SK driver will indicate a start next time past the control line by turning OFF flashing
lights [ if fitted] as he crossing the start/finish line and by the raising of his left hand
from the time he reaches flag point 5 until he leaves the circuit at the normal exit point.
* Karts are to hold position in formation, no overlapping, until the driver passes the control
line and the green flag is given.
Drivers found to be in breach of the SK rules may be penalized.
DRIVERS WITH DISABILITY
A team with a bona-fide disabled entrant may use a second kart, which has been modified for
their use, provided the following requirements are met.
1 Each kart must commence the main event with a set of tyres that have a minimum of
25% wear
2 The Chief Scrutineer will be the sole arbitrator in determining the Tyre wear.

Should either kart suffer a breakage, the required repairs on whichever kart is damaged, must

Should either kart suffer a major breakdown and cannot rejoin the race the team will be credited
with the laps completed and finishing position will be determined by this figure.
The compulsory Tyre change is to occur on the able bodied drivers kart, should this kart not
return to the circuit immediately AND has used a DIFFERENT set of tyres then what was
removed is to be REPLACED with the “used” tyres back onto the able bodied driver’s kart, this
can be done in the teams own time but BEFORE the kart is used again competitively.
STOP/GO PENALITIES
The Chief Steward or race director for violations of the Regulations may order these. The
STOP/GO BOARD will be displayed with relevant kart number. The driver must return to Pit
Lane within two laps.
PIT AREA
Maximum number of people allowed in Pit area will be four (4) per team, Two Drivers/Two
Pit Crew all are allowed to assist with work on kart and must be dressed in fire safe clothing
supplied by promoter.
Pit Area will be controlled by Marshals at all times.
PITCREWS
Only pitcrew who are signed on as such and carry out actual pitcrew duties will be
allowed in the pit area. All other people will NOT be allowed in the pit area and must
remain outside such area.
MECHANICAL BREAKDOWN LANE
Will be in Operation
STARTING PROCEDURE
Kart to be lined up on track in Grid positions.
Drivers start your Engines
2 Warm-up Laps in Single File in race order – no passing.
Driver then form up on start line in correct positions
NOTE If pit stops made during this procedure drivers MUST start from pit lane after field
has passed
10 Second Hand show when last kart has been positioned.
The green light will indicate the start of the race
Competitors will, where possible, be given 5 minutes warning prior to a restart after a race
stoppage. The restart will be in single file gridded in the race order as it was on lap prior to
the lap on which the race was stopped.
Restarts will be a rolling start and competitors will be given two warm-up laps in single
file grid order.
Overtaking on the warm up laps if forbidden.
Upon the green light being given karts are to remain in formation until they have crossed the
start line, no overlapping or passing is permitted until the start line has been crossed.
Karts wanting to rejoin at this point can only do so once the last kart in the single file has gone
past the pit lane exit on the first racing lap of the restart. I.e. you must rejoin at the rear of the
field not the front
FAILURE TO COMMENCE UNDER STARTERS ORDERS for repairs (if required).
Kart is to be removed from track and taken directly to pits
The kart is then eligible to start the race from Pit Lane.
JUDGES OF FACT
The Chief Lap Scorer (with the assistance) of the AMBTranX160 system will be judge of
fact as to the number of laps completed, the time of the event and the finishing order of the
event.
The Starter (Being person who gives the green light) will be judge of fact while under the
starters control and will determine competitors who break the start order, impede, delay or
unduly affect the start procedure.
The Weigh Marshall shall be judge of fact as to the measure weight of any kart and driver at
the completion of the event and at any weigh through the course of the event.
The Pit Marshals shall be judge of fact for excessive speed in the pits and the safety of
refueling and responsible for the general organization, layout and control of the pits.
COMMUNICATION - PIT & DRIVERS
Pit crew to communicate with the driver may use lap Board. No other means of on track
communication is to be used.
FLAG SIGNALS
Drivers will obey the following light/flag signals during competition and practice;
Green light
The green light will indicate the start of the race also the restart of the rce after a SK.
Red light
ALL racing shall cease. Drivers will indicate by the raising of a hand and return to the grid
at a greatly reduced speed, and in a safe manner and be prepared to stop on track if
necessary. The race director or the stewards of the meeting will only give this order.
Yellow light
Danger Reduce speed. Maintain Position until an operational flag point that is NOT displaying
a yellow flag is passed. Drivers judged to have passed under yellow light conditions may
receive a drive through penalty. Stewards to issue the penalty to the crew immediately
a decision is made.
Blue light
Drivers are to hold their line and to indicate to the passing kart which direction to pass.
Drivers repeatedly disobeying the blue light may be given a drive through penalty;
stewards are to issue the penalty.
Black & White diagonal.
When shown in conjunction with the relevant kart number it will indicate that the driver is
being watched for unsportsmanlike behaviour, repeated infringements may see a drive
through penalty issued, stewards to issue the penalty.
Black Flag.
When shown in conjunction with the relevant kart number the driver is to cease racing and r
return to the pits. The team will be ineligible to continue in the event. This issuing of this flag
will be for repeated violations and or major safety breaches. Stewards of the meeting will
issue this flag.
Black with Orange Disk.
When shown in conjunction with the relevant kart number the driver is to return to the pits a
and carry out the required repairs.
This flag will also be used to advise the driver of a “drive through penalty” being awarded
against his team, a board using the words “drive through” will be shown along with the kart n
umber.
Black and White chequered.
Signifies the end of the race. Any kart in the pits at this time has 2 MINUTES to rejoin the
circuit and receive the chequered flag.
Safety kart.
All flag point lights will immediately flash alternating red and yellow to indicate the
deployment of the Safety Kart. All karts will cease racing and commence the safety Kart
procedure.
Numbers.
Identifying numbers are to be displayed so they are clearly legible.
Drivers Briefing.
Drivers briefing will be held prior to commencement of racing, all drivers are to attend.
Contact of Karts.
A driver who causes a kart to make contact with another may be penalised, a Driver who
drives in a manner dangerous to themselves or others may be penalised. Penalty will be drive
through, if repeated infringements occur driver will be black-flagged. Penalty to be issued
by the stewards.
General offences.
A driver subject to these regulations must not;
1 Use Foul or threatening language.
2 Do any act or speak in an intimidating manner.
3 Assault, strike, touch, move or otherwise apply force of any kind to the person of another or
attempt to do so, except as the circumstances may justify or excuse that action.
4 Act in any way dishonestly
5 Fail or refuse to present as directed or prevent an inspection or test of any part, clothing,
equipment, or the weighing of the kart and driver.
6 Make frivolous complaints.
Penalties.
Stewards of the meeting are the only person’s eligible to impose a penalty.
Breaches of rules covered by “judges of fact” are non-appeal able.
Penalties that can be issued are as follows;
1 Revision of starting position
2 Stop/go penalty
3 Revision of finishing order
4 Exclusion from the event
specified elsewhere in these regulations the above will be the only list of penalties the
stewards can apply to any breach of these regulations.
Complaints.
Any official of the meeting can make a complaint against a team for breaches of rules of the
event regulations.
A team can make a complaint against the actions of another team in respect to breaches of
event regulations.
All complaints are to be in writing and handed to the event’s stewards.
Stewards are to handle the complaint as quickly as possible, and hand down their decision as
quickly as possible.
No fee is required when lodging a complaint.
Decisions of the stewards are FINAL NO appeal is permitted.
All complaints must be made PRIOR to the chequered flag or no later than15min AFTER
chequered flag if incident occurs in the last 20laps of the event.
Hearings.
When the stewards receive a complaint or makes a complaint against a driver the hearing must
take place as soon as possible. The defending driver may have a team representative present to
speak on his/her behalf should the situation require.
