fundraising campaign, $800,000, will provide specialized
equipment for the center.

The Bernice Smith Cancer Fund is a patient assistance fund Richland Hospital

Champions Society and Why We Give to
Rising Champions Children’s Hospital through
benefiting Prisma Health Children’s Rising Champions:

Rising Champions: 35 members, Our own experience at Prisma Health began with a
age 40 and under 72-day stay at the NICU with our second daughter
Champions Society and Rising who was a micro-preemie. Although it was stressful,
Champions members collectively the excellent care we received from Prisma Health
Baptist Hospital eased the difficulty. In addition to
contributed nearly $75,000 to the NICU, we have also benefitted from having
pediatric specialty care available in a moment’s
support pediatric subspecialty notice. From doctor visits to a short stay in the
programs at Children’s Hospital. hospital last fall, we find great comfort in the fact
that there are 24-hour specialists in our own backyard. Supporting the Rising
Champions cannot prevent the unexpected from happening, but it can help guarantee
immediate access to the best pediatric care in the Midlands. We are thankful for the
support of the community in recognizing the value of a well-equipped children’s
hospital. As parents, we look forward to continuing the legacy of giving that has been
so faithfully established in years past.
