Company Introduction

Northern Nutraceuticals Inc. is a family-owned business located in Spalding, Saskatchewan Canada. Canada is world
renowned for its clean air, water, and its healthy environment, the perfect combination for wholesome food!

We are wholesale distributors of certified organic and conventional nutraceutical ingredients for health food, vitamin, and
supplement manufacturers. Our customers are from around the world and we ship our products to many international
locations.

Our company handles locally sourced borage seed, flaxseed, and hempseed products. These oilseeds are sold whole or
processed.

We have a HACCP certified and Kosher approved facility, equipped with state-of-the-art processing, packaging, and
labelling machinery, combined with dedicated and well-trained staff which allows us to produce premium-grade, pure,
expeller-pressed oils. Each oil has a unique “fatty acid profile” which has the potential to maintain optimal health. These
natural oils are subsequently used in the production of health foods, vitamins, and nutritional supplements. These oilseeds
are expeller pressed which results in an oil that is in its purest, unrefined state and the oil maintains its original color with
sharp clarity. Expeller pressed (or more commonly known as “cold-pressed”), is a chemical free, mechanical process used
to extract the natural oil contained within the seed.

Northern Nutraceuticals Inc. also produce cold-milled flaxseed, which has not gone through any heating in the process of
grinding. What makes this processing method highly essential, is because it protects the Omega 3 oils from going rancid in
the process.

We can supply these products in all available forms, whether it be whole seeds, milled/hulled seeds, in powder or meal
form, or in means of oil. Our goal and mission are to meet, if not exceed, our customers’ expectations for quality
nutraceutical ingredients!

Not only do we provide wholesale opportunities, but we also provide co-packing, and private labelling services. Whether you
need contract manufacturing on a smaller scale or need us to fill a container load at a time, we can do it all!

distribution, we have our NorthernEdge® product line, and we are the only company in Canada that produces our flax-
based bakery bricks, know as NorthernEdge® Flax Bakery Base.
