CHARACTERISTICS
Bauhaus style is characterized by its economic,
geometric design and by its respect for materials.
Materials should reflect th
e true nature of
objects and buildings.
Minimalisme
The minimalist style of Bauhaus art,
architecture and design reflected these
ideas of functionality and honest
materials.
Only line, shape and colour mattered.
Anything else was unnecessary and
needed to be reduced.
