Sebby

It’s Sebby’s birthday and he has to
have a cake with candles lit to
represent his age!

Sebby
Today he turns seven!

But why is there only three candles?

?

Sebby

The answer is rather
simple actually. His age
is shown in Binary!

In Binary, each place
(candle) represents the
previous number squared,
excepting moving from the
first to second positions,
labeled to represent one
and two respectively.

So when we add his age, we add the
values that are active (candles that
are lit).

This cake was
from when I
turned six!

Now that you know about
Binary, you should ask
your parents to show your
age in Binary for your
next birthday, I’m sure
their wallets will
appreciate it!
