Kasetsart University (KU) was established as the
first agricultural university committed to creating
and developing human resources and to become
an important force in agricultural development.
Despite its origin and specialized area, for nearly
100 years, KU has progressed to become a research
university in the nation, prioritizing the integration
of research and scholarly work across multiple
academic areas (i.e. agricultural science, science
and technology, social sciences and humanities).

Message

Kasetsart University is recognized as a world-class university by Chongrak Wachrinrat, Ph.D
QS World University Rankings by Subject in many subject areas. In
the fields of Agriculture and Forestry, it has been ranked No. 1 in
the country for many years in a row. This is because the community
of Kasetsart University has developed teaching and learning,
research development and innovations that meet international
standards, which yields graduates of international quality. In the
past, Kasetsart University has produced numerous graduates to
serve society and the nation and many who work in the private
sector around the world. Knowledge acquired from university
study is blended with “The King’s Philosophy” (the Sufficiency
Economy Philosophy of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The
Great), and integrated with community and universal knowledge
to yield efficiency work that supports the mission "Kasetsart is the
Knowledge of the Land". Furthermore, the personnel of Kasetsart
University have cooperated with partners from many countries
around the world to conduct a wide variety of academic activities
for mutual academic benefit, which raises the level of knowledge
to facilitate sustainable development.
