Science and Technology Programs
Biology/Chemistry/Mathematics Education
Molecular Biology/Biotechnology
Computational Science and Engineering
In the Education Track, you will earn a Master’s in Instruction and
Curriculum that will make you eligible for state teacher certification in
biology, chemistry or mathematics. The Professional Track awards
master’s degrees in biotechnology or computational science and
engineering, which will prepare you for a rewarding career in business
and industry. Admission into the program requires a minimum 3.0 GPA
and combined SAT CR/MA score of 1170 or ACT score of a 24.
B.S./M.S. Engineering Science Scholars Program
For highly qualified students who want to go into engineering
science. You’ll explore all of the sciences along with specialized
courses in engineering, many of which you’ll take at the New Jersey
Institute of Technology. You’ll receive a B.S. at Kean, then proceed to
the College of Engineering at NJIT, giving you the ability to earn both
degrees in as few as five years. Admission into the program requires a
minimum 3.25 GPA and combined SAT CR/MA score of 1270 or ACT
score of a 27.
B.S. in Science and Technology: Biomedicine Option
For highly qualified students who plan on going to graduate school
for professional training. Most students who pursue this option
apply to medical school or to graduate programs in biomedicine or
physical therapy. Admission into the program requires a minimum
3.25 GPA and combined SAT CR/MA score of 1200 or ACT score
of a 27.
