Women Who Kayak was developed as a
community for women to come together and
share their favorite kayaking experiences and tips,
to develop friendships, and participate in events
that help preserve our precious waterways.

We plan to continue collaborating, planning
paddling events, and supporting our members

OUR GOALS

There are so many benefits of kayaking including the health boost received from a low
impact sport, and improvements to your mental health and feeling more connected to
nature, appreciating its beauty, and respecting it enough to help keep it safe and
clean. We aim to provide the knowledge, tips, and connections to help members
paddle safely, while collaborating with organizations that champion environmental
awareness and events.

COMMITMENT TO
THE ENVIRONMENT

At Women Who Kayak we are dedicated to
helping preserve our precious waterways.

In the summer of 2019 we co-hosted events with
the Milwaukee River Keepers and the Milwaukee
Rowing Club for their spring cleanup and chatted
with Plastic-Free Mke on the Purevant Living
Podcast about their initiatives to keep our
waterways and environment clean.

WE GIVE BACK

2% of every sale goes directly back to the environment, to nonprofits and organizations
that support sustainability and eco-conscious efforts. In addition to creating
programming and free resources, we feel it is important to help organize
and co-sponsor water cleanups and sustainability education.
