BROOKLYN SORENSEN
Region 1 Collegiate Rep, National Collegiate Chair
I was initiated into the Alpha Sigma Chapter of Phi Upsilon Omicron in January of 2020
at Ball State University. I currently serve as our chapter’s membership liaison and work to
provide on team building and networking experiences for our chapter. I have already been
presented with so many opportunities to lead and serve others, and I have had many op-
portunities to step out of my comfort zone and grow personally. I will start student teach-
ing in the Spring of 2022, and I am so excited to start working with high school students of
Family and Consumer Sciences classes.
BENTLEY CUNNINGHAM
Region 2 Collegiate Rep
I am a senior Dietetics major at the University of Tennessee at Martin.
I was inducted into Phi U in 2019 and currently hold the position as Vice President.
Since joining Phi U, I have been given amazing opportunities and experiences to not only
help me with my career, but my life as well. It has been such a wonderful experience for me
to be able to volunteer and help the people in my community through Phi U. I am honored
to be able to serve as the Region 2 Collegiate Representative for Phi U and will do my best
to represent the Chapter well.
LINA GONZALEZ
Region 3 Collegiate Rep
I am a Graduate Dietetic Student at Texas Woman’s University. I was initiated into the Al-
pha Alpha Chapter of Phi U in March 2019. Phi U has been an important part of my profes-
sional career because I have had great networking and volunteer opportunities, that have
allowed me to learn and grow as a person and as a professional. I am honored to be the first
TWU graduate student to be elected as a Regional Collegiate Representative, and I look
forward to the leadership experiences this position will bring for me.
ANDREA MUNGUIA
