2) TUBERCULOSIS(TB) -25,173 CASES
3) HAND , FOOT AND MOUTH DISEASE – NEARLY 38,000 CASES
4) FOOD POISONING- 16,583 CASES
5) VIRAL HEPATITIS- MORE THAN 400,000 INDIVIDUALS
TYPE OF INFECTIOUS DISEASES CAUSES AND WAYS TO DEAL

1) Dengue fever
Type of infectious: Infectious disease
Causes: Dengue fever is spread through mosquito bites.
Ways to deal: To deal with dengue fever we must prevent mosquito bites. Steps to prevent
mosquito bites:-
> Stay in air-conditioned or well-screen housing. > Use mosquito repellent.
> Wear protective clothing. > Reduce mosquito habitat.
2) Tuberculosis (TB)

Type of infectious: Infectious disease
Causes: Caused by a type of bacterium called Mycobacterium Tuberculosis.
Ways to deal :-
➢ Take all of your medicines as they’re prescribed, until your doctor takes you off them.
➢ Keep all your doctor appointments.
➢ Don’t visit other people and don’t invite them to visit you.
➢ Always cover your mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. Seal the tissue in a plastic
bag, then throw it away.
3) Hand , foot and mouth disease

Causes : Cause of hand foot and mouth disease is infectious with the coxsackievirus A16. The
Coxsackievirus belongs to a group of viruses called nonpolio enteroviruses.
Ways to deal : Certain precautions can help to reduce the risk of infectious with hand foot and
mouth disease:-
➢ Wash hands carefully
➢ Disinfect common areas
➢ Teach good hygiene
➢ Isolate contagious people
4) Food poisoning
