GENERAL GUIDELINES (INTEGRATED PROJECT)

TOPIC: Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat
• Design a Website or an E-newsletter in the form of a flipbook.
• Students are required to make a group comprising six to seven members from the same

section. Each student of the group will collaborate and contribute towards developing
the project.
• Each group needs to choose any one of the above mentioned medium, to present the
integrated project.
• Number of pages: Maximum 12.
• The project should cover the following aspects:
Cover page showing the project title, group information. Each member of the group
needs to mention his/her contribution in the project.
• It is an online group project and has to be uploaded in the folder (Holiday Homework) on
TEAMS.
• The Holiday Homework will be marked as a part of MT 2 cycle. The distribution of the
same is as follows:
MT 2 - 35 Marks
Holiday Homework- 05 Marks
• Date of submission: 20.07.2022

ENGLISH

• Each group will select any one state of India wherein each group member should research
on any one traditional attire/craft of his/her choice of the chosen state.

• Students should then write interesting facts about the traditional attire/craft and the reason
why they have chosen it. (Word limit - 50 words) Colourful pictures must be included
along with their write-ups.

• Students to then work in groups and compile the above write-ups and pictures on a page in
the website/ e-flipbook, as a collage. The name of the state should be the title of their page.

TOPIC: HYDROPONICS- THE FUTURE MODEL OF SUSTAINABLE FARMING

The Indian farming community earlier believed that staple crops and vegetables cannot be
grown successfully without good soil, good water and plenty of sunlight. However, with the
installation of new technologies for Hydroponic Farming, the modern methods of farming have
revolutionized.

• Research the success story of any one Indian entrepreneur who has used hydroponic
farming.
1. List any two plants that have been grown by using hydroponic farming.
2. Mention the state to which the entrepreneur belongs.
• Using waste material available at home like trays, water bottles, used jars and cans create
your own mini water garden using hydroponics.
(Seeds/cuttings of mint, coriander, tomato, chillies, basil or any other seed can be used.)
• Write the benefits of hydroponic farming in the field of agriculture in about 80-100 words.
• Click pictures of your hydroponic garden and create a photo essay with a maximum of five
to six pictures

Unity in Gujarat/Victoria Memorial in Kolkata).

PHYSICAL EDUCATION

Each student should choose one famous sports personality and write about his/her
achievements (any two) in their respective field.

India is a vast country with myriad cultures. Each culture has its own festivities and food. The
amazing variety of Indian food with local ingredients and spices is something we all as Indians
can celebrate and appreciate.
