Emergency Alerting

Alarm system is used, whenever there is need to alert personnel that an
incident or an emergency has occurred at the Facilities. These alarm system
can be activated manual or on automatic mode.

Accommodation Work Boat Emergency Alerting
The signal for any general emergency will be LONG AND CONTINUOUS
RINGGING on vessel general alarm. Soon after this signal is sounded, an
announcement shall be made with regard to the type of emergency on vessel
public addresser system.
Abandon Ship
The abandon ship alarm will be SEVEN SHORT RINGS AND ONE LONG
CONTINUOUS RING. Soon after this signal is sounded, an announcement
shall be made only by verbal order of the Master or other person in command
e.g. Chief Officer / Chief Engineer if the Master is incapacitated.
Man Overboard
The man overboard alarm will be THREE LONG RINGGING.
Dismissal
All crew will be dismissed with THREE SHORT RINGGING alarm
