06/07/16 I was fortunate that the Fair Program contacted me (Mark Hannah). I set up an appointment with them which I canceled, thinking they were just another company promising “everything” , yet delivering “nothing”. After finding that I had no other recourse I rescheduled, and I’m so glad I did! I initially met with David Dashiell (Fair Program Counselor) & Mark Hannah (shadowing David). My story in brief: I tried on several occasions to acquire a modification thru my lender, Wells Fargo, to no avail. During the process my husband had major surgery & was hospitalized for 90 days (loss of income) & then was transferred to a care facility. I felt that I should qualify for one of their programs such as HARP, but they said I didn’t qualify because I had assets - equity. After going back & forth with Wells Fargo, I noticed an informative infomercial of a law firm that showed various couples standing in front of their homes that had been saved from foreclosure. The law firm had taken the banks to task, even to court and received modifications. Some even recieving principle reductions, etc. Well, you get the picture. I’d like to think it was because I was so mentally, emotionally, and physically exhausted that I became their next victim. You see my mortgage was about to adjust and I knew I wasn’t going to be able to afford it. I was so tired of fighting with Wells Fargo. A yr. later I suffered a seizure and subsequently diagnosed with a brain tumor (large but benign - (illness). It was during post surgery, hospitalization, & rehab that Wells Fargo began default proceedings. That’s when I rescheduled my appointment with the Fair Program and David Dashiell became my counselor. I liked the fact that David really took the time to listen to me. After listening David immediately called Wells Fargo, but we needed to clear up something first to release the communications between them . Then we called the attorney, who came off totally rude, short, obstinate & condescending with me. It was embarrassing & totally unprofessional. I was immensely impressed with David Dashiells level of professionalism, his in - depth knowledge of “all things “Real Estate”. His integrity along with ability to make you feel at ease. He is great! I was nervous about everything, & he assured me that I didn’t need to be. He said I could call him any time day or night, & personally offered to help us clean out the garage more than once. He’s the type of person that you would want on your team! This companies transparency is 2nd to none & they are all honest, compassionate, caring, personable team of people with excellent core values. I can’t speak enough superlatives about them, as they truly exceeded all my expectations. The Fair Program strives to provide excellent customer service & are succeeding in that effort. Juan B. Bellflower, CA 05/19/15 The FAIR Program is truly a program to trust. The individuals that represent this organization are truly professional, knowledgeable, and advocate on your behalf. They are ethical and understand how to maneuver through the obstacles that banks set for people who are desperately seeking to save their home. I experienced not one, not two, not three, but six rejections for a loan modification-- when I should have been a poster child for what a financial hardship looks like. Yet, the bank denied me, even after doing everything they asked of me. As discouraging as this experience was for me, my faith remained strong. I prayed after speaking to the loan servicer who made me feel less than human. I just remember, thanking God for His faithfulness and saying please send someone to help! At that moment, my phone rang and this man named David stated he was calling on behalf of the FAIR Program. I thought, oh’ here we go some gimmick another trick of the enemy, but in reality it was God’s plan to answering my prayer I had just prayed. Because I was skeptical, I took his information and stated I couldn’t talk. A few days later, David called me back and shared what the program was about. I remember thinking to myself what do you have to lose? I agreed to come in for a meeting and he sent me an email of what was required. My first impression of David was that he truly wanted to alleviate the unnecessary stress from my overall experience. He looked over my paperwork, explained what the possible outcomes could be and made no promises, which I appreciated. After all the logistics were covered, he went to work and stated that he would follow up with me through the entire process. I can happily state that the FAIR Program made this process stress free and guided me thoroughly. With this being the seventh attempt for a modification; I was finally approved! To God Be the Glory, for placing me in the path of an awesome program that treats their client’s with compassion and respect, unlike the banks. I strongly recommend this program without reservation! DonMia F. Los Angeles, CA 05/31/16 On the real, this company is totally legitimate. I am in shock and awe about the knowledge, competence and effectiveness that these guys have. Erick and his team are heaven sent and are ruthless when it comes to pushing back on the big named mortgage companies. Here’s my story... I had been trying since 2010 to get some sort of loan modification and a lower interest rate for a home I’ve had since 2001. Back in 2008 my mom had a career-ending stroke and I got a little behind trying to help her keep her home as well as take care of mine. Unfortunately Wells Fargo held the title, to both homes, so as you can guess they were not budging on anything when I asked for a mortgage reduction in lieu of these medical circumstances. Instead, they were able to pressure us to selling my mom’s home and were then interested in trying to acquire mine as well. Every single program such as Making Homes Affordable, HARP I, Harp II, and so forth that Obama came up with, Wells Fargo found a way to have me ineligible for. I was at my wit’s end with only two options: 1) sell my home (which I didn’t want to do) or 2) file for bankruptcy (which is only a Band-Aid and it kills your credit). So when I got this random call from an agency stating that they could help me keep my home and get me a competitive loan modification, I simply didn’t believe it. I truly thought it was just another parasite calling or knocking on my door to try to turn my misfortune into their gain. The only reason why I didn’t hang up the phone was as I had them on speakerphone my wife whispered to me that these guys are credible because they have a very high Yelp rating. A few days later, I met with Erick and the rest of his team and he assured me that they knew better than these lenders how the whole system works, and that he was pretty sure he could get me a competitive loan modification in spite of the six years that I’ve already been trying. Admittedly, I was very pessimistic but figured I didn’t have anything more to lose, and so I gave him a shot. With very little work on my end - too little to be honest - my loan modification came through within a month and a half or less, and my interest rate dropped to 3.25%. I’m still a little bit stunned in a good way. I ask myself, “How in the hell did these guys do that?” They’re like the Robin Hoods of the mortgage industry, knowing that people like me have been getting screwed for years and then coming to the rescue. One last thing we need to talk about is their fee. Stand by for this. This is the most important thing I can tell you. Are you paying attention? I paid a total of zero dollars and zero cents. There are people that have paid thousands for attorneys, bankruptcies, blah, blah, blah, and received nothing from it.
