Geography

In the winter of 2015, I visited my family in the
Philippines. That was the first time i had visited the
Philippines. The very first thing we did after
landing was getting into the car for my
Great-grandmother’s 91st birthday. In, the U.S.
you would look usually for your seat belt, however
in the Philippines you actually don’t need to put on
your seat belt, unless you are sitting in the front of
the car. Not knowing this I asked “Where’s the seat
belt.” That’s when I knew you don’t need seatbelt
unless you are in the front.

Religion

The very first time I went to a church, I
imagined that we would only be there for thirty
minutes. Thirty minutes later I asked my
Grandmother how much longer we were going
to be there for. The next words I heard were
dreadful. She told me that we were going to be
there for one hour and thirty minutes longer.
The bad part about it was that, we were only
sitting down.

Achievements

One invention that has changed my life is the
smartphone. If I had never gotten a smartphone,
my life would have been much harder. One
difference is that if I never got a smartphone, it
would be much harder to contact friends and
family. Compared to now it is very easy for me to
contact my friends and family. Also a different
way it would be harder is if I’m looking for
directions I can’t if I don’t have a smartphone, but
since I do I won’t get lost.

Politics

My household rules are: do your homework as
soon as you get home, do your chores, and no
tv past 8 pm. Sometimes, if I break a rule I
would be scolded. The only thing that has
changed with my household rules is that I now
have more chores.

Economics

At home I have three chores. My first chore is
to wash the dishes. After everyone's done
eating I wash the dishes. My second chore is to
clean my room because it tends to be messy.
My third chore is to sort and wash clothes. For
my allowance, I earn five dollars. When I grow
up I would like to be a pro-gamer. This is the
career I would like because I admire their
patience. Also because I love playing games.

Social Structures

In my family i have no brothers or sisters. My
parents’ names are Rodrigo Rodrigo and
Kathleen Rodrigo. At home I live with my
grandmother and grandfather. Their names are
Rosario and Emilfonso Rodrigo. When we have
the chance we like to talk, eat, and go to my
aunt’s house together.
