History of As technology has evolved, so have viruses. When computers

However, the viruses which started appearing in the 1990s
present much more of a threat: they are often used to steal
confidential information such as bank account details and
passwords.
Worms A lot of Anti-Virus softwares like Avast, detect and
remove worms from computers. Worms spread
through unsecure wireless networks, and emails so
be safe and smart. They don’t do damage to the
computer however they do slow down your computer.
Worms replicate themselves to slow down computers
more.
Viruses Virus can harm computers in many ways. You
can download viruses accidently, they can
access your computer through bad emails and
harmful websites. They can delete/transfer
important files from your computer. This is the
most common type of malicious software.
Trojans ● A Trojan is a form of malware disguised as legitimate
software. It is often employed by cybercriminals to
steal private data, spy on users and gain unauthorized
access to systems. Always keep your software up to
date. This goes doubly true for important programs like
your operating system and browser.
● To really be secure you have to install an antivirus
software or Trojan remover. This software, when kept
up to date, will scan your system to make sure you
haven't downloaded a Trojan, and will automatically
scan any program or file you execute to ensure its
safety.

computer. And use common sense!
