With a sorrowful heart I acknowledge that I am empty, hollow, and shallow! If I have ever felt a fullness of my being, it was and always is, Your outpouring of undeserved grace and merit into all my undertakings! Thank you, God, for helping me to get rid of this illusion of self-sufficiency and for granting me the openness of mind and heart to acknowledge that without Your help I can do very little. I acknowledge that as I come under Your wings of protection, no evil shall befall me, nor shall any plague come near my dwelling. I rest in Your wonderful love. Amen. PRAYERS ANSWERED Dear Lord Jesus, when I pray I believe, I received it and I will have it. I believe it happens now, Lord Jesus, I want to receive Your healing right now. Thank you, Lord, I am healed, I am healthy, I am strong, I am free, I have the favour of God, I have the goodness of God, things change in my favour. When I prayed, healing came into my body. Thank you, Lord Jesus, I am healed, with long life God will satisfy me. The tide of the battle turned in my health. In the unseen, things changed, God is working behind the scene. Our God is all powerful. When God speaks, angels go to work. Things have shifted, things lining up for me, good breaks are chasing me down. Through faith I can bring it to reality. Thank you, Lord Jesus that I am blessed, I am healed, I have an unwavering mind and I believe God has already healed me. I am healed in Jesus’ name. FOR THE GIFT OF HOLY PRIESTS This is my grateful prayer for the gift of Your holy priests, God. Praise be to You, God, for gifting us with Christanointed priests as caretakers and evangelizers of Your faithful presence among us. Out of Your bountiful love, You kept Your promise that You will not leave us orphaned. You gave us Your Holy Spirit; in addition, You gave us priests – Your chosen representatives – to stand in the gap for us. They are a constant reminder of Your omnipresence in our daily living so that we do not go off track, especially since it is so easy to fall prey to the many unhealthy distractions of the world. Through Your Word, they constantly remind us that though we are in the world, we are not of this world, because our inherent nature is that of a Paradisal being. They draw strength from You to become a source of comfort to us and help to shepherd us back into Your fold should we go astray. We affectionately and respectfully call them “Father” in recognition of the spiritual fatherhood that You have bestowed upon them. May Your favour rest upon them so that they remain pure in thought, word, and deed; ever ready to follow in Your footsteps all the days of their lives. I pray that they will “put on Christ” on all occasions so that we, the flock, will similarly choose to attire ourselves in the attributes of Christ for our own good and that of the world. 70 VOCATION PRIESTHOOD Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for the gift of priesthood. Thank you for their ‘Yes’ in serving in Your Kingdom. I pray that You will raise up more young men to be bold and courageous to answer to the call to priesthood. I pray for the Holy Spirit to continue to stir their hearts to answer to this Call to the holy vocation to build God's Kingdom. May they not be influenced by the desires of the world, but to fix their gaze upon Your Son, Jesus the high priest that You have chosen for them to emulate. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
