1. Be loyal to the school and the country.

A WORD TO THE PARENTS
1. Parents/guardians are permitted to meet their wards
on 2nd Saturday of the month only from 19-30 hrs. to
17-00 hrs
2. Parents are strictly prohibited to enter in to hostel /
Barricade on the parents day.
3. Parents are requested to watch carefully the cadet's
progress in academic and outdoor activities.
4. Parents are requested to meet the House Master if
student's progress is not satisfactory.
5. The students are required to score 40% in each
subject and 50% aggregate for promotion. However
the students are required to score 45% in each
subject and 55% in aggregate to retain the
scholarship.
6. A student has to get atleast a pass grade in art
education (drawing and painting) for promotion to
next higher class.

RULES OF SCHOOL LIBRARY
1. Maintain silence in the Library.
2. Any book lost/torn must be informed to the Librarian
immediately and the book lost by the borrower shall
have to be replaced within 15 days time from the date
of loss by the borrower.
3. Each borrower is supposed to examine the condition
of the book when it is issued and has to ensure that
the damage if any, is mentioned in the loan register.
4. While returning the book, the borrowers will ensure
that the date of return is correctly entered and each
entry is signed by the Librarian.
5. A borrower from whom fine or some other recovery is
long over due will be debarred from borrowing books
from the Library.
6. Stealing of books/magazines from the Library is a
serious offence. If a student is caught while stealing
book/magazines from the Library he/she will have to
pay double the cost of the book.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
1 Text books followed will be strictly as per CBSE guidelines. No
Help Books or Guides are either recommended or advised.
2 Cadets are strictly forbidden from leaving the school premises
With out proper authorisation.
3 Do not move in the corridor or outside class room during school
hours. Always he punctual and properly dressed.
4 Do not carry valuables and costly items with you.
5 Keep a clean handkerchief.
6 Shoes should be polished everyday.
7 All the cadets must take care of their belongings in the house /
Hostel
8 Any breakage in the house / Hostel / Academic block must be
immediately reported to the Hostel Superintendent / House

9 No Cadet to play inside the house/house premises.

Whenever wearing uniform, belt and cap (Beret) to be worn at all

DORMITORY RULES
1 All cadets are responsible to keep their dorms clean.
2 Beds and cupboards lo be properly laid out whenever cadet
leaves the dorm.
3 When resting or relaxing on bed, wear the night suit.
4 Shoes to be kept under the bed.
5 Bucket / rnug to be kept under the bed.
6 No one to visit the hostel during PT Breakfast, Classes, Lunch,
Games, Prep and dinner.
7 Dorm Prefect will be responsible for discipline in the dorm.
8 Hostel is your home, you must always work towards the
betterment of hostel.
9 Kit will not be deficient at any time.

CLASS ROOM RULES
1 All cadets will remain in class rooms when required.
2 Visit toilets during breaks only.
3 No furniture to be taken out of the class rooms. . 4 Beautify
the class.
5 No one will remain in school building except during class
hours.
6 Do not make noise play in class room.
7 Throw the papers and wrappers and other trash in dustbin
only
8 Conserve electricity. Switch off lights and fans when not
required.
9 Maintain all text books and notebooks neatly and keep them
up-to-date.
LABORATORY RULES
1 In the laboratory / workshop, follow the instructions given by
the teachers.
2 Any breakage or loss must be reported immediately.
3 The cadets should come prepared with the theory of the
experiment, which they have to perform in the laboratory.
Students should come
to laboratory with completed practical record and observation
note book.
4 All cadets are advised to be careful and alert during practical

MANNERS AND ETIQUETTES
Basic Manners :
1 Always be honest and truthful to self and others.
2 Keep your body mind and soul clean.
3 Be polite. It is nice to use expressions like “Please”,
, “Thank You”, “I'm sorry” etc. appropriately (Request Class teacher
to hold a practice dialogue)
4 Be kind to old people and ladies.
5 Be kind to animals.
6 Make it a habit to greet others cheerfully.
7 Make it a habit to find goodness in others, Pay compliments
sincerely.
8 Do not lose your temper. One looks ridiculous in bad tern per and
generally it ends in repentance.
9 It is bad manner to argue. Think you may win a point, often better
by agreeing not by arguing.
10 Be considerate to your friends and neighbors at home and in
school.
11 Mere reading of good Manners does not make one “ per feet.

Personal Manners :
1 Keep your body mind and soul clean, Wear clean clothes always.
2 It does not benefit students to wear costly and showy garments;
“Neat and simple” should be the motto. Walk and dress smartly

3 Do not cough, yawn, sneeze or belch in presence of

or hand and it is advisable to turn your face away from others
while doing so. When you've finished, say, “Excuse me” or “I'm

ON MEETING NEW PEOPLE.
1 “How do you do is an apt greeting on meeting strangers.
2 Avoid a string of personal questions on first meeting such as
“How much pay do you draw?” And also do not start telling
about yourself.
3 Do not call them by name. Use expressions such as “Sir”, “Mr.”,
“.”, and “Madam”.
4 It is not only your school staff who are to be addressed as “Sir”
or “Madam” but also other superiors such as a visiting guardian,
any official or,' any elderly gentleman or lady.
5 Respect old age. Polite and endearing terms are heartening
even to the poor.
6 Do not shout or argue in presence of seniors.
7 Normally do not speak unless addressed by senior:,
8 When entering a building or vehicle open the door to your senior
and let him enter first. The same rule applies to ladies whether
senior, equal or junior.
9 Offer seat to your senior. It is good manners to stand up when
they stand next to you. The only exception is when you are
eating, Seniors do not expect you to leave your meal and stand
up. You may, however, wish or greet them when addressed or
spoken directly

ETIQUETTE
1. Cadets are to move house-wise to the Dinning Hall for all meals.
2. They should enter the Dining Hall in single line.
3. Discipline should be maintained in the Dining Hall.
4 Cadets should follow Dining Hall etiquettes.
5 Cadets should leave the Dining Hall silently. The mess is a
cadet's home. Every cadet has to maintain a high standard of
decency and decorum of the mess. Every cadet should take
pride in this institution and uphold its dignity. Some tips to follow
in the mess.

6 Observe Punctuality.

8 The senior most dining member occupies the seat at the head
of the table.
9 While eating do not keep your mouth open.
10 Do not produce any noise with cutlery.

12 In case your tablernate / neighbour's seat is vacant (but the ta
be laid, do not eat from his plate)

neighbours / mates to pass the dish over to you.
14 Don't argue with the bearer or any mess staff.
15 Do not criticize the food when the meals are in progress.
16 Do not start blowing your nose and cleaning your throat while
seated at the dining table.
17 While talking to your mates / neighbours, do not hold the
cutlery up.
POINTS FOR PARENTS
