DYNASTY BILLS 2021 SZN PREVIEW

2021 SZN PREVIEW

BILL WEBZ – COMMISSIONER
BILL HESS – DIRECTOR OF BILL OPERATIONS

LETTER FROM THE COMMISIONER

BILLS -

THE HARDEST PART OF DYNASTY LEAGUES IS DECIDING WHEN TO GO ALL-IN AND WHEN TO
BUILD FOR THE FUTURE. IN THIS YEARS BILLS DYNASTY PREVIEW…I WENT ALL-IN.

HERE’S WHAT IS NEW TO THE PREVIEW:

 YEARLY AWARDS DECIDED BY OUR LEAGUE GENERAL MANAGERS
 POWER RANKINGS (COMBINED DYNASTY AND CONTENDER SCORES FROM DYNASTY NERDS

ONLINE GM TOOL)
 STARTER & BENCH PLAYER TRACKING (TOP 16 PLAYERS PER TEAM)
 WHAT TO WATCH FOR THIS SEASON
 NEW FORMAT AND 2ND PAGE ADDED

NOW SOME SPECIAL NEWS – I’D LIKE TO CONGRATULATE GM HESS ON HIS CHAMPIONSHIP
RUN AND ANNOUNCE HIS PROMOTION FROM ASSISTANT TO THE COMMISSIONER….TO
DIRECTOR OF DYNASTY BILL OPERATIONS. PLEASE JOIN ME IN COMMENDING HESS.

AS ALWAYS THIS DOCUMENT SERVES AS OUR ANNUAL LEAGUE KICK-OFF. THIS YEAR I WANTED
TO FOCUS ON THE PLAYER TRACKING – THERE IS 181 ACTIVE TOP PLAYERS IN OUR LEAGUE.

HERE IS WHAT STOOD OUT TO ME:

 OUT OF THE 24 PLAYERS DRAFTED IN THE FIRST TWO ROUNDS OF OUR INNOGURAL
DYNASTY DRAFT – ONLY HALF REMAIN ON THE SAME TEAM.

 MORE THAN 27% OF PLAYERS HAVE BEEN TRADED.
 MORE THAN 14% OF PLAYERS WERE PICKED UP ON WAIVERS. IT PAYS TO BE ON THE WIRE!
 MORE THAN 29% OF PLAYERS ARE ROOKIES DRAFTED IN THE PAST 3 YEARS.
 GM MATT PULLEN HAS BEEN WHEELING AND DEALING SINCE THE LEAGUE STARTED.

TRADING THE FOLLOWING PLAYERS:
o JUSTIN JEFFERSON / JERRY JEUDY / CALVIN RIDLEY / COURTLAND SUTTON
o DALVIN COOK / ANTONIO GIBSON / JAMES ROBINSON / TONY POLLARD

GOOD LUCK TO ALL THE BILLS THIS SEASON. FOOTBALL IS OFFICIALLY BACK.

LOVE -

BILL WEBZ

Just a Bill | Jake Weber

2020 Finish: Strength – Youth
7-6 (7th) Rookies D’Andre Swift, CD Lamb, and Chase
Claypool all had solid first years in the NFL.
Power Rank: Adding to GM Bill’s strong second year players
8th Scary Terry and Deebo Samuel.

Weakness – Studs
Just a Bill has no real star power on the roster
with last year’s demise of Zeke and Slant Boy…
GM Bill will hope for better days as Michael
Thomas heals from an ankle injury and Zeke
has found a new home with GM Simpson.

Draft Outlook – Tasty
GM Jake Weber will make 5 first round
selections and 5 second round selections in the
next two years. Mainly coming from recent
trades of Julio Jones and Zeke.

 Will Just A Bill trade the farm for an aging RB again?

Pollard Greens |
Matt Pullen

2020 Finish: Strength – WR
9-4 (3rd) Looking at Pollard Green’s WR core is fun,
some absolute alpha dogs in Adams, AJB,
Power Rank: and Higgins. These dudes should be
1st problem in the league for years to come.

Weakness – RB Depth
Much of GM Pullen’s RB depth was traded
away when all the chips were pushed in to
acquire star Alvin Kamara.

Draft Outlook – Always Good
Pollard Greens has a nose for talent. Even
though GM Pullen has the 3rd worst draft
capital in the league…it doesn’t matter.
History shows he’ll find the late round gem.

 The Last Dance? Davante Adams is going to BALL.
 Will GM Pullen win his first playoff game since the

championship run in 2018?

Golladay Inn | Jake O.

2020 Finish: Strengths – 1.01 Players
6-7 (9th) The off-season addition of CEH really
bolstered this once bleak position for GM
Power Rank: Jake O. Now with 2 first overall rookie picks
5th on his team. Can you tell he is a Falcons fan?

Weakness – Youth
No doubt about it, this team is in win now
mode… and the pieces are there. Doesn’t
help first round pick ETN blew out his knee.
Hopefully Bad Luck Jake O is through for the
year.

Draft Outlook – Standard
GM Jake O enters the season with all of his
22 & 23 rookie draft selections. A major plus
moving forward.

What to watch for in 2021

 Can KC high power offense create a RB1?
 Will GM Jake O make a move for another top RB?
 Golladay in NY – Good or bad for production?
 David Montgomery – Was the end of last season a

temporary success or his coming out party?

Mayfield of Dreams |
Ryan Weber

2020 Finish: Strengths – Young Dogs
1-12 (11th) Mayfield of Dreams added some new WR
Power Rank: to the mix with J’Marr Chase and
Davonta Smith. The landing spots weren’t
11th perfect, but the talent sure is.

Weakness – Talent
Better to be really shitty than mediocre.
This team has less star players than the
2017 Cleveland Browns.

Draft Outlook – Tasty
GM Ryan went into full rebuild mode last
season, trading several top players for
future draft picks. Sitting with the 2nd
best draft capital in the league….the
future is bright for Mayfield of Dreams

What to watch for in 2021

 How fast will rookies Smith and Chase ascend in the NFL?
 Mac Jones will be a top 10 QB – Planting my flag.
 James Conner or Chase Edmonds in AZ?
 Can OJ Howard finally produce?
 Michael Carter is good – Jets organization is bad.

2020 Finish: Pygmy Shrew |
10-3 (1st) Spencer Bowers
Power Rank:
Strength – Hunger
6th The Pygmy Shrew is feared as the hungriest
animal on earth. GM Bowers gobbled up a
record tying 10 wins last year but failed to
order desert with a semi-final and 3rd place
game L’s. What appetite do we have in store
for 2021?

Weakness – Overfeeding
If you’ve ever seen Willy Wonka my fear for
the Pygmy is he ends up like Agustus Gloop.
Eating himself into a poor situation if he
cannot compete with the top teams.

Draft Outlook – Underwhelming
Not much to say here, it makes sense. GM
Bowers is all-in and buffed his team by
trading away draft picks.

 Joe Mixon – Finally relevant?
 CMC is back baby!
 Julio Jones or AJB in TEN?
 Whose a hungry boy?
 Is it Gaskins team or a RBBC?

Drewdus | Drew Wagner

2020 Finish: Strengths – RB
7-6 (5th) #THERETURN. Saquon is back after a season
ending ACL injury last year. He returns to one
Power Rank: of the best RB rooms in the league and
4th knowing how freakish that dude is….should
pick up right where he left off.

Weakness – Depth
While star power is no problem for GM
Drewdus….depth is certainly a problem. That
can be solved with a strong waiver wire year
or striking gold on his later picks.

Draft Outlook – Standard
GM Drewdus is more conservative in his
trading of picks and finds himself with a clean
slate for the upcoming years. Which is good
with his nose for talented WR.

 O/U half a trade for GM Drewdus this year?
 No Edleman? This feels weird.
 Sony Michel vs. Darrell Henderson
 Can Trey Sermon take the reign in San Fran?
 Saquon – Comeback player of the year candidate.

Najee All-Stars |
Kyle Haber

2020 Finish: Strengths – Confidence
0-13 (12th) No matter how bleak things look. GM Haber
Power Rank: always seems to have good spirit in the group
chat. So confident that he laughed at my 2 win
12th prediction last season. Let’s hope for the start
of a turn-around season as Najee All-Stars has
been working the waiver wire.

Weakness – Dogs
Who let the dogs out? Not GM Haber because
there’s few dogs in his house. Rookie Najee
Harris and 3rd year stand out DJ Chark will aim
to change that jingle.

Draft Outlook – Standard
GM Haber will work to rebuild his team with a
full slate of picks. Look for him to add more.

 Who starts more games Burrow or Lawerence?
 How much gas does MG3 have left?
 TuTu Atwell – Sleeper

2020 Finish: Just My Luck  |
6-7 (8th) Alex Till

Power Rank: Strengths – Kyler
9th Kyler is an absolute baller and a dude to
have on your fantasy team. My prediction
is he will finish above Mahomes this
season and continue his dominate career.

Weakness – Bucs RB
GM Till has cornered the market in
Tampa Bay. The problem? It’s unclear
how shares will work and if a RBBC is
used could mean both are ineffective
weekly plays.

Draft Outlook – Standard
Just My Luck  has all of his draft picks
for the next couple seasons.

George Kittle and OBJ.

 Chubba Hubbard if CMC injuries linger.

2020 Finish: It Bodes Well |
8-5 (2nd) Alex Bodermann

Power Rank: Strengths – Art of the Deal
2nd GM Alex Bodermann knows his way around a
board room. Coming out ahead on a number
of trades over the past few seasons. This team
has been built on acquisitions and is primed to
make their way back to the championship
game.

Weakness – Not Many
This team is good. If I had to nitpick, It Bodes
Well could have a problem at QB if Kirk
Cousins see’s any missed due to COVID-19.
This wouldn’t be a problem if star QB Watson
wasn’t a super charged sex freak weirdo.

Draft Outlook – Average
Solid number of draft picks to work with in the
upcoming years. Maybe stick to trades?

What to watch for in 2021

 How will be GM Bodes next trade victim? This dude is
on a Good Luck Chuck type streak with trades.

 James Robinson – RB1 or RB1 n done?
 Nyheim Heins – Most solid back-up RB in the league.
 Logan Thomas – Fitz loved Cameron Brate in TB.

Goated | Tedd Avery

2020 Finish: Strengths – Rookies
6-7 (10th) Trading star Alvin Kamara meant a partial
Power Rank: rebuild for GM Turd. A roster with 5
potentially starting rookies will be interesting
10th but exciting as Goated works to make the
playoffs for his first time in league history.

Weakness – Tik-Tok Stars
JuJu was considered a top dynasty asset just
two years ago. Now GM Turd finds himself in a
tough situation managing a player that will go
any length for clout. Even if that means doing
the milk crate challenge weeks before the
regular season begins.

Draft Outlook – Great
Goated holds the third best draft capital in the
league as he tries to build on a talented roster.

Simpson | Alex Simpson

2020 Finish: Strengths – Prime WR
8-5 (6th) Allen Robinson and Adam Thielen are in
the prime of their carriers and should
Power Rank: show out for GM Simpson. Same for
7th Diontae Johnson is he can hold onto the
football...which means ball security will
ALWAYS mean job security.

Weakness – Not RB
In a blockbuster trade just days before
the start of regular season Simpson adds
star RB Zeke Elliot to push for his first
championship.

Draft Outlook – None
Simpson has traded most of his picks and
will start his run to a 1st round bye.

production?

BEAR DAHN | Ryan Hess

2020 Finish: Strengths – Everything
9-4 (1st) GM Hess has built a dynamite team through
every way possible. Trades, rookie selections,
Power Rank: and waiver wire all used to construct his
3rd roster. The champion will look to become our
first repeat champ!

Weakness – TE
The only area of true weakness is Tight End.
Evan Engram is on his last straw to perform in
NYG. Watch Waiver Wire Hess work to unearth
a gem.

Draft Outlook – Fine
Bear Dahn has a nice number of draft picks and
if I know GM Hess they’ll be utilized effectively.

NEW RULES ADDED IN 2020 OFF-SEASON
 Potential Points – Total points for the season will be calculated using highest potential

points for each week. Meaning if you have a player on the bench outscore a player in your
starting roster it will account the additional points. Just for total points for, not the actual
game. We’re adding this to eliminate tanking for draft picks.

 Team Tampering – A team cannot be named after a player that is not on their roster.
Please we must protect the integrity of the league.
