Ceramics of the Bauhaus
Ceramics becoming fabrics.
This series of fabrics presents
conceptual and form abstraction
of the principles of the Bauhaus
ceramics workshop. I tried to
translate the transition from
handmade to industrial production
into the fabric, just like the teachers
and students of the bauhaus did in
ceramics.

Anti-Shibori
It all started as a research of shape
memory in non-woven fabrics.
Our desire to design a fabric that it's
pleats give it elastic and motile, led
us to the traditional dying technique,
Arashi-Shibori. By altering the
technique just a little bit, we managed
to achieve two effects - pleats and
dying, The outcome of this project
was surprising due to the biomorphic
shape and the colorfulness that pop up
through the pleats.
Collaboration project with Eran Zohar.

Living Lines
Fabrics are mostly flat.
By using the differance between
Satin and Atlas weaving structures,
I created fabrics resembling living
objects.

Ceiba Insignis Tree
From the first time I saw this stange
and interesting tree, I knew I will
design something inspired by it. Finally,
i made those non-repetitive Penrose
patterns.

How can I transform my sketches
into fabrics?
I looked at this sketchthat I made
a long time ago, and it's essense
stayed the same. All the sentences
are Hebrew proverbs that express
hard work, huge effort and
devotion. Respectively, making a
jacquard simulation is a repetitive
work, that requires attention to
small details and patience.
