Introduction

Durham Futsal Club are the largest Futsal Club in the North East. Our ambition is to grow into one of the leading futsal clubs
in Europe over the next five years. Following a highly successful maiden season competing in the FA National Futsal League, with
victories over Manchester, Liverpool, Loughborough, Nottingham and Australia u17 in an invitational international fixture, we are
frontrunners to be promoted to the National Super League in 2018.

Our success as a club and an Academy has seen 5 players receive international honours one of which captained Northern Ireland at
the recent Home Nations Championship.

In addition to this our Club, in partnership with Fast Feet Football Academy, currently welcomes over 350 players each week
making us one of the largest Futsal Academies in the UK.

The development of our young players is vital to the growth of our club and we have a number of exceptionally talented players
coming through our ranks.

Our U11 side are ranked in the top 4 sides in England after reaching the National Finals in June 2016, while our U15 & U16
squads are ranked in the top 2 regionally.

We also work with various educational partners and deliver to around 500 children per week.

As the leading Futsal Club in the region, we are expecting a continually high level of press and social media coverage

In addition to our National League & FA Futsal Cup coverage, our partners will receive huge brand exposure at the following events;

• Exclusive performances in partnership with John Farnworth, former World Freestyle Champion.
• The Junior Great North Run where we are the official footballing partners for the 4th year running which attracts over 25,000

visitors each year.
• The Catherine Cookson Carnival, held each year in South Tyneside which attracts over 30,000 visitors each year.

Recently the club have been invited into the BBC Radio Newcastle studios to discuss futsal and Club Chairman
Mark Rutter appeared on local Football Show “Football Matters” which is aired weekly on
“Made in Tyne & Wear”

Corporate Social Responsibility

As part of our partnership, we will provide 1000 local school children the opportunity of a free futsal session to promote
• Health and Wellbeing
• Teamwork
• Confidence building
• Keeping physically active
• Try a new sport
• Participation for the 14+ age group

These sessions will give some under privileged children an opportunity they may not have otherwise been able
to experience.

Our dedication to health and wellbeing amongst children is enhanced by our strong partnership with the Junior
Great Run.
