Hana was a curious girl who loved exploring the world around her and learning all she could about the natural world. However, her curiosity couldn’t be contained, and she decided to make the most of the rainy day by learning something new. She decided to ask her mother about rain and how it was formed. “Mum, can you tell us how rain is formed?” Hana asked, her curiosity brimming. Her mother smiled and sat down with her. Adam, eager to know too, joined them. “Rain is formed when water vapor in the air cools down and turns into tiny water droplets,” she explained. “When these droplets come together in clouds and become heavy, they fall to the ground as rain.” 8 After The Rain.indd 8 10/13/2023 10:56:25 AM
Adam was fascinated and asked, “But how does the water vapor get into the air in the first place?” Hana’s mother smiled at his curiosity. “Well, water vapor is formed when the sun heats up bodies of water like oceans, rivers, and lakes.
