THE MUET LISTENING PAPER






MUET Paper 1 Listening (800/1) consists of five parts. Each part features a

listening text is either in the form of a monologue or a dialogue.




• Part 1 one dialogue


• Part 2 one monologue


• Part 3 three monologues by three separate speakers

• Part 4 one dialogue


• Part 5 THREE short dialogues




In Part 5, the length of the spoken discourses are relatively short. This means

the candidates have to follow less structured implied massages. Hence, they

have to be more attentive when tape scripts are played
