SEE YOUR GIVING IN ACTION

Caroline Robinson Brayley Student Enrichment Award

"As Pitt OT students, we are blessed to have a supportive team of alumni, faculty,
and staff who strive to enhance our educational experiences. This award will allow
me to participate in multiple educational opportunities external to the department
such as the European Seating Symposium in June of 2020. I will also have the
opportunity to participate in kinesiotaping classes which will allow me to become a
Certified Kinesiotaping Practitioner. Involvement in activities such as these will help
me become a more skilled therapist so that I can best serve future patients."

- Michelle Beck, OTD Class of 2021

Occupational Therapy Award of Professional Excellence

"I am honored to receive the Occupational Therapy Award of Professional Excellence
in recognition of my cumulative efforts to support occupational therapy in various
community and traditional settings during my time as an OTD student. This award
contributes to my educational endeavors by allowing me to concentrate on my
capstone project next semester, to develop a multimodal educational platform to
support families and children with acquired brain injury integrate back into the
community. I appreciate the support of all the faculty and the Pitt OT community to
be recognized through this scholarship opportunity."

- Monica Morrison, OTD Class of 2020

Joan C. Rogers Occupational Therapy Award

"I am honored to have been presented with the Joan C. Rogers Occupational Therapy
Award. This opportunity allows me to continue my passion for pursuing knowledge
through research. The Pitt OT community has been a fundamental support
throughout my research career, which allows me to actively contribute to the
profession and advance best practice. I appreciate the unique environment Pitt OT
has to offer when it comes to collaborating on new ideas. I am looking forward to my
final semester in the OTD Program where I will be able to blend my love of research
directly with my education through my experiential preceptorship!"

- Haley Feller, OTD Class of 2020
