ketika ini, kami tetap bersedia menghadapi
peperiksaan penting ini. Kami telah bersedia

breakfast and eat at school during the lunch break. I left home
at 6.30, riding a bicycle to school, alone. This was my only
favourite thing in this world – riding a bicycle in the morning,
feeling the morning breeze and hearing some birds chirping.
But that was only a short fantasy. Arriving at school, I parked teachers. Talking about classmates, they were the most toxic
my bicycle and walked heavily to my class. I had no friends people I had ever met. They talked behind my back, then acted

was that they could see me as a good reliable person, just once. What could I do more to stop

The next day, I became a brave person to apologise to all my teachers and friends. I did not

ogised to them. Back at home, I asked my mum what I could do to help her and I willingly did
all the chores. I gave my elder brother some of my pocket money so that mum and dad would
not scold him because he took their money. I really wished all these miserable things in my life
would stop. I could not endure it anymore.


That night, I saw my parents’ faces for the last time as they were sleeping soundly. Then,

priceless. The navy blue painted all over the wall makes me feel lively all
the time when I stay in my grandparents’ house. The air is breezy there.
Unlike the hustle and bustle in the city, my grandparents’ house is free
from black smoke and everything seems to become slower. One of the
reasons why this place is so special to me is the green paddy field which
never fails to blow me away. In my grandparents’ house, I feel like I am
closer to nature and even human beings.


About Author My grandmother is a great cook. She cooked a vast variety of delicacies
for me and my grandfather when I was four years old and used to stay
with them during holidays. Her mouth-watering food had always made
my day. On the other hand, my grandfather is a talkative person. I enjoyed

it was uncomfortable to hear. As the fight goes on, it became worse and no one stood

the dog as it was interrupting them. The dog yelled horribly and lay on the ground. It

The brutal attack on the dog caused a stir and it made it quite obvious that it was
something more than an ordinary quarrel. The crowd maintained its distance, petrified
and frightened. What happened next was even more cruel and inhuman than what had

almost imagine how painful it could had been for that man. Seeing the man collapse,
some people rushed towards him and many others away from the spot. The culprits
disappeared, nowhere to be seen. Left only the dog and the unconscious man both
laying in the pool of blood.


I felt so sick and rushed back home. I couldn’t sleep the whole night; the sight haunted
me non-stop in the form of a nightmare whenever I tried to sleep. I would never want
to encounter quarrels anymore as it has left a permanent scar in my mind that I could
never get rid of.

Objektif kursus ini adalah untuk
memupuk sifat kepimpinan yang jitu

bertujuan untuk memberi pendedahan

kepada Pengerusi dan Setiausaha
peranan jawatan mereka dalam sesuatu

Perayaan Ponggal merupakan
perayaan yang disambut pada
musim menuai dan diraikan
secara meluas oleh kaum India
di Malaysia.


Pada tahun ini, perayaan
Ponggal di SMK Iskandar Shah
telah disambut oleh murid-murid
dan guru-guru berbangsa India
di padang sekolah. Sambutan ini
dianjurkan oleh Persatuan Bahasa
Tamil SMKIS. Pelbagai aktiviti
dijalankan seperti pertandingan
kolam dan thoranam, serta
memakai pakaian baharu yang
berwarna-warni.

Kejohanan Merentas Desa Peringkat
Sekolah 2020 telah diadakan pada 29
Januari 2020. Peserta-peserta telah
dilepaskan mengikut kategori masing-

masing dengan laungan dan gelak
ketawa.


Peserta kategori perempuan telah

sampai terlebih dahulu kerana jaraknya
yang lebih pendek. Peserta-peserta
telah merentas ladang kelapa sawit
dan melalui jalan raya sebelum tiba di

checkpoint terakhir.

Sesi Persekolahan Tahun 2020 telah

bermula pada 02 Januari 2020. Serentak
dengan itu, program Guru Penyayang
juga telah bermula. Ia bertujuan

menunjukkan sikap kepedulian guru
terhadap murid.


Program Suai Kenal Murid Baharu
Tingkatan 1 juga telah bermula sejak

hari pendaftaran 1 Januari hingga 6
Januari 2020. Ia membantu murid-

Ziarah Cakna oleh Unit HEM telah
diadakan sebanyak 12 kali pada tahun

2020. Perjumpaan diadakan dengan

anak-anak.



Selain itu, murid yang menghadapi
masalah kesihatan juga telah dilawat di

Majlis Persaraan Puan Kalthom telah
diadakan dengan penuh gilang gemilang

pada 31 Januari 2020. Lengkap
berbusana pengantin rona biru muda
bersama-sama pasangannya Encik

Noorsir bin Sarip, Puan Kalthom telah
diraikan oleh warga SMK Iskandar Shah
dalam majlis penuh bersejarah ini.
