Dear GMs,

Welcome to Year 4 of the League of
Legends (of the Hidden Temple) dynasty
league. With Rosh joining — and already
making moves — this is the healthiest the
league has ever been. 

This season we’ve moved to the Sleeper
app, increased the roster size to 26,
implemented TE premium (1 PPR) and
eliminated divisions. 

In this season preview, I’ve compiled a
team-by-team breakdown, accompanied
by rankings (per FantasyPros) and a
Power Ranking for 2019 and beyond.

RB The RBs have some upside, but it's a lot of
unproven talent.

TE Strongest group on the team, but not by
much. OJ Howard is primed for a big year.

It's going to be another tough season, but patience is a virtue.

17-22 Nobody has more draft capital in the future than PD. And the 2020 draft is
looking mighty juicy.

However, this is a massive rebuild that could take multiple drafts.

2019 PREDICTION:

Ryan joins the likes of the Cleveland Browns and Detroit
Lions and goes winless.

QB After drafting Kyler Murray at 1.1, Levi has two
top-11 QBs in dynasty with rushing upside.

Grade: B+

RB Levi upgraded at RB1 with the trade for
Dalvin Cook, but he's got nothing else really

outside of the Vikings back.

Grade: C-

WR After dealing Keenan Allen, Levi still has ODB
but a lot of question marks after that. He'll

have to rely on Dede Westbrook and the oft-
injured Will Fuller.

TE Grade: C+

For some reason, Levi decided to use a pick
on god-awful-broadcaster-turned-bald-man
Jason Witten. Outside of the concussion king,

Jordan Reed, there isn't much here.

Grade: C-

Levi's team has some top-end talent, but will they still be in their prime by
the time this team is in a championship window? Unlikely.

That could doom this rebuild.

2019 PREDICTION:

Despite having some elite talent, it's hard to see this team
competing any time soon.

This looks like a bottom-three team in 2019

SONS OF
OLMEC

QB Holding onto Foles is about to pay off —
again — with his new starting job in

Jacksonville. Wentz will need to stay healthy
for this QB group to prevail.

RB Grade: B

Arguably the worst RB group in the league.
Outside of Miles Sanders, does this team
even have another starter?

WR Grade: D+

Let's put it this way: Spears has to rely on
Antonio Brown (and his helmet) and Josh

Gordon. That's not ideal.

Grade: C

TE Strong group of tight ends. Cook should
have a big year in New Orleans and

Hockenson can be his replacement in a year.

Grade: B

LIKELY DIRECTION:

Spears dipped his toe into the rebuilding waters with his trade of Tom
Brady for two second-rounders, but it's not enough.

19-20 Spears is strattling the line between win-now and blowing it up and we all
know he should just BLOW IT UP.

2019 PREDICTION:

This is the year the team craters. A bottom-dwelling season is
in order for team Father Time.

HANDS
TEAM

QB Alex has potentially four — perhaps five —
starting QBs on his roster. They're all pretty
mediocre white boys -- but it's better than

not having starters.

Grade: B

RB There are question marks throughout this RB
group. Mainly, can Kerryon and Fournette
reach their potential? If not, this group is
doomed.

WR Grade: C-

Along with QB, this is the deepest group on
the team. But the WRs lack elite talent...

unless Corey Davis, ARob and others step up.

TE Grade: B-

Austin Hooper had a breakout season last
year, but other than that, there isn't much

talent on this team.

Grade: C+

LIKELY DIRECTION:

20-19 After trading Antonio Brown in the offseason, it's looking like a rebuild
for Hand's team.

With a lack of blue-chip prospects, Alex will need to make some strong
trades and picks when his younger players start to pop.

2019 PREDICTION:

Alex misses the playoffs, but isn't in the 1.1
conversation.

DIGGS
OUT FOR
HARAMBE

QB Rodgers will need to rebound off a highly
mediocre year, and the Red Rifle leaves a lot

to be desired. This team could use another
QB (Sam Darnold?) right now.

Grade: B-

RB What recently looked like a promising group,
is now stuck in mediocrity. Guice and Penny

were rookie-season disappointments. Will
Jacobs avoid that?

WR Grade: C

Easily the strongest group on the team. The
wide receivers go 5 or 6 deep along with
some young pass catchers with upside.

Grade: A-

TE A shallow group, Eifert can't stay healthy
and Andrews might not be anything more

than a part-time player.

Grade: C+

Daniel has done an admirable job of rebuilding his squad.
With a strong group of WRs, this team is just a few players away from

being a problem, but still probably a year away.

2019 PREDICTION:

Daniel's team is young and talented. It would not be
surprising to see him sneak into the playoffs or win the Toilet

Bowl (again).

DONUT
SHOOKWORTH

QB Any team with Mahomes and Big Ben is
dangerous. Demitri needs Rosen and/or
Brissett to break out and become Ben's heir

apparent.

RB Grade: A-

A once promising RB group is down to
scraps. With MG and Kareem Hunt out,
Demitri will rely on Singletary and McCoy as

starters. Uh-oh.

Grade: C=

WR A mediocre WR group led by Kenny
Golladay (run-first team) and TY Hilton (with

Brissett) probably won't get the job done.

Grade: C-

TE Arguably the best TE group in the league,
Demitri has three top-10 TEs on the roster.

And the league is now TE premium.

Grade: A

29-10 After back-to-back 11-win seasons, Demitri's team is finally coming
back to Earth.

Through his actions, Demitri knows he needs to get younger.

2019 PREDICTION:

Demitri still has a QB tandem of Mahomes and Big Ben along
with some talented players. He should be in the fight for a

playoff spot, but a third championship is unlikely.

BELIEVE IT
OR NOT!

QB With old-farts at QB — Brady, Rivers —
Brendan is going for it, but the QB group
doesn't have a lot of room for error -- or

injuries.

RB Grade: C+

This is a really fun running back group that is
potentially five-deep. The question is, will
Gurley be slowed down by his knee?

Grade: A-

WR Outside of Ridley and Boyd, this WR group
has almost nothing of value... especially with

N'Keal Harry slowed down by injury.

Grade: C

TE Lots of meh white dudes.

Grade: C+

QB Three potential franchise QBs all under the
age of 25... and Case Keenum.

Grade: B+

RB Tim goes 5-deep at running back, but the
group is lacking elite talent.

Grade: B-

WR The trio of Juju, Davante and Tyler Lockett is
baller AF. Beyond that, the squad has some
young, talented pass catchers with upside.

Grade: A

TE A solid TE group, led by breakout candidate
Evan Engram.

Young and talented, Tim's team should make the playoffs —

QB Russell Wilson and Drew Brees are still a
deadly combo. JT's on the lookout for a solid

QB3.

Grade: B+

RB Outside of Zeke, there isn't much here to
work with. Kenyan Drake and Tarik Cohen

looks like part-time players this year.

Grade: B-

WR JT has a really solid group of WRs that goes
at least five-deep. New additions Mike Evans

and DJ Moore should fill the Nuk void.

Grade: A-

TE Other than the top tight end in the league,
JT's group is all based on upside.

knows the window is closing.

2019 PREDICTION:

Yes, his team is getting older, but JT is still a championship
contender as long as Wilson, Brees and Zeke are putting up

points.

QB Deshaun Watson and Matt Ryan might be
the best 1-2 QB punch in the league. Flacco

is a suitable QB3.

Grade: A

RB With Lev Bell back, the RB group is better but
not very deep at all.

Grade: B+

WR Rosh's WR group is talented and goes six-
deep, which makes losing AJ Green a little

easier.

Grade: B+

TE The weakest group on the team a year ago,
Rosh's first move was to acquire Ebron. He

also drafted Fant in the first to plug the hole.

Grade: B

out. Nailed it.

LIKELY DIRECTION:

Rosh is in win-now mode, and he's ready to compete for a
championship.

2019 PREDICTION:

With Le’Veon Bell back and some holes plugged, Rosh is very
much in the championship contender discussion.

CHU HAVE

CAR IDEAS

QB A solid trio at QB, Nick has two QB1 passers
with massive rushing upside. And Carr is a
solid QB3.

Grade: A

RB What was the best RB group in the league
got a little worse by trading Dalvin Cook. But
CMC, Kamara, Freeman is a dynamite three-

headed monster.

WR Grade: A

The reigning champ knew the WR group
needed an upgrade so he traded for Keenan

Allen. Is that enough to defend the crown?

Grade: B

TE Despite rostering six TEs, none of them are
all that great. This team sure could use
Gronk back.

Grade: C

26-13 The defending champion's roster might be even better
this year.

2019 PREDICTION:

The defending champ has as good a chance as anyone to win
the title. Could we see back-to-back champions twice in four

years?

MY CHUBB

QB The loss of Luck is a massive blow to this
team's championship aspirations. Baker must

avoid a sophomore slump while Jameis and
Jimmy G need to step up.

Grade: A-

RB It doesn't get much better than rostering four
top-7 running backs.

Grade: A+

WR With three top-8 WRs — and plenty of young
wide outs with upside — the receiving core is

stacked.

TE Grade: A+

George Kittle was a surprise breakout a
season ago and he'll be needed in a TE
group that might need either Goedert or

Vance to have a big year.

Grade: A-
