In My
Dream

Let’s go on a journey of dream, shall we?
PROLOGUE
Life never goes the way we want
and has disappointed us thousand
times. But daydream? No, it never
hurts. Within one mind exists a
world full of fascinating things,
imaginary tales, and dreams
about an ideal world; a world that
only the person can get access to.
Daydreaming is not a way to escape
life but in fact it’s a way to keep our
soul alive. It’s a reminder for us that
it’s okay to take a day to break away
from all the pain life has made; and
that life has a hopeful undertone.
There goes the girl with her head in the clouds.
Easily swept away by music, by books, by movies.
She has travelled the world twice, and aged many times
over, yet her family and friends can never keep up with
how fast she moves.
To them, she is still young, still obedient.
Still gullible.
But she isn’t.
She hides her pain well.
She hides herself better.
And she dreams.
She has mastered the art of dreaming,
of hiding behind her smoke screens and rose glasses.
They laugh fondly at her dreams, while shaking their
heads.
“Her head is in the clouds”.
