About Us.

The history of S. Mentekidis S.A. began 26 years ago at Spilia, Kozani, the birth place of
Savvas Mentekidis, the founder of the company.
Since 1992, the company constantly invests and presents a tremendous increase, enjoying
consumers’ loyalty and building healthy relationships with its customers and suppliers.
This year, S. Mentekidis S.A. received an important distinction as it was awarded as one of
the Diamonds of the Greek Economy for its excellent business course and financial
soundness.

The power of Olympus.

In 2012, more than 12£ millions, one of the largest investments in the Greek bottling
industry, was invested in the DIOS bottling plant located at the divine mount
Olympus.

Today, the company has tripled its size and its financial figures. Proof of its dynamic
growth and expansion is the completion of a 7.5£ million investment by the end of
2018. This will further enhance the dynamic development of the brand with new
technology production and bottling machines, storage expansion, and photovoltaic
panels.

The 20£ million total investment safeguards the company’s commitment to
consumers and customers for supreme quality, totally controlled hygiene and
excellent customer service.

DIOS entered the market and today, it is the “rising star” of the Greek
bottling industry.

Its origin from mount Olympus stand out DIOS from the competition.
We have a unique story to tell, the divine origin, that allow us to
develop a thriving brand with an equally thriving future through a
network of selected partners.

Mount Olympus.

Ιn 1981, UNESCO declared Olympus a “World Biosphere Reserve”.
Moreover, its geomorphology, variety of natural habitats and microclimates is a
uniquely important heritage which is protected since 1938, when Olympus was made
Greece’s First National Park with the aim of “preserving in perpetuity the natural
environment of the region, namely the wild flora, fauna and natural landscape”.
The prevailing etymological view is that Olympus is associated with the highest divine
and celestial power as it is the home of the 12 Greek Olympian Gods.
An inspiration for poets and the ultimate goal for mountaineers, Mount Olympus
stands 2.918 meters tall and looks down on all the other mountains in Greece with its
52 peaks lost in the clouds, its deep gorges and exceptional biodiversity.

The Film.

Inspired by mount Olympus and its mythical history, the
communication campaign of DIOS emphasizes at the
brand's values to strengthen its image. The first action
was the new DIOS TV film that is on the air (Greece)
since September 2017.
The original concept highlights the origin of DIOS
based on an inventive scenario and a high-quality
production. Hence, Olympos is the main protagonist of
the TV spot, surrounded by a ... "divine" casting.

The Plant.

The plant, an energy class A boutique building with a floor area of
9,500m2, stands on a 26,000m2 site owned by the company. DIOS is
equipped with state-of-the-art bottling equipment.

Since 2012, the bottling process follows the best available practices along
with the most modern and strict safety-hygiene standards.

On the fully automated packaging lines, all the bottling, capping and
labelling procedures are completed without any human intervention.

The capacity to bottle, package and store ensures that the product is
dispatched directly.

Packaging & Storage plays a vital role in maintaining the freshness and
purity of the water that brings all the values of Mount Olympus, therefore
we do not compromise on packaging and storage standards.

Our Warehousing Facilities enable us to store products in a totally
controlled hygienic environment.

The Quality.

At every stage of production, strict daily checks are carried out in the plant’s fully
equipped microbiology laboratory by qualified and experienced personnel. The daily
tests, the totally controlled bottling conditions belong to the company’s Integrated
Quality System that is aligned with the International Quality Standards, Certifications
and Accreditations.

Moreover, the company collaborates with independent foreign labs to ensure the
highest safety and quality standards in accordance with ISO 22000 and HACCP
requirements.

Dios is a Natural Mineral Water suitable for a low sodium diet and internationally
awarded by iTQi (International Organization for Quality and Taste) and Monde Selection
(International Quality Institute) for its superior quality.

The Product.

Dios Natural Mineral Water is available in full recyclable PET bottles that use as less
plastic as possible, demonstrating in practice the environmental awareness that
characterizes the company’s policy.

Labels are available at: Greek – English / Greek – German / Greek – Chinese and tailor-
made labels upon agreement.
