Have you heard of the VEGPOWER and PEAS PLEASE initiative?
One-third of primary school kids in Britain are overweight or obese. There are all sorts of different things that should or

could be done, but here’s a really simple one that’ll have a massive impact – convincing kids to eat more veg.
But there’s a problem… many British kids don’t really like veg. In fact 80% don’t eat enough.

At Castell Howell, we are keen to promote an initiative to convince children to increase their veg consumption.
We are proposing a competition to our primary school customers whereby we ask that the children design a ‘SCARY VEG’
for HALLOWEEN, send us the images and the winner will win a SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB A (7.0) and the school will also

benefit by £200.
Dates for submission are 15.00, Friday 18th of October, with the winner announced on Wednesday 23rd of October.
To support the competition, we will suggest veg based Halloween themed menus for week commencing 21st of October.
