KEKUATAN Nichelle merupakan seorang murid yang aktif menyertai aktiviti - aktiviti yang dianjurkan di dalam dan di luar sekolah. Beliau kerap dipilih untuk mewakili sekolah untuk menyertai acara di peringkat sekolah dan Daerah Petaling Perdana. Beliau memenangi tempat pertama dalam pertandingan sajak Mahabbah Peringkat Petaling Perdana untuk 2 tahun berturut-turut. Nichelle adalah seorang murid Masalah Pembelajaran ( Dyscalculia, Dysgraphic Dyslexia ) yang sangat rajin , bersemangat, dan berdedikasi . Beliau selalu mengisi masa lapangnya dengan melukis.

TEKS ULASAN BOOK SYNOPSIS CINDERELLA AND THE LOST MICE AUTHOR: BARBARA BAZALDUA YEAR: 2012 NUMBER OF PAGES: 133 TYPE: FICTION LANGUAGE: ENGLISH SYNOPSIS: It was winter and Cinderella ’ s mice were feeling very cold. Cinderella loved her mice but the palace housekeeper disliked them. She asked the gardener to throw all of Cinderella ’ s mice out into the cold. However, the gardener helped the mice. He placed them in the stables and gave them food. Cinderella was very worried when she found out that the mice were not in the palace. As she was searching for the mice, she met her husband, the prince. The prince told her that he found out about the housekeeper ’ s cruel deeds. He also told her that the gardener had put the mice in the stables. He brought Cinderella to the stables to meet the mice and the gardener who helped them. They brought the mice home happily. The gardener became their guest of honour in the grand ball. It is so wonderful to be rewarded as the guest of honour! On the other hand, the cruel housekeeper peeled potatoes in the kitchen as punishment. The moral of the story is to be kind to others. Our good deeds will be rewarded somehow. Therefore, we should spread kindness as much as we can.
TEKS ULASAN BOOK SYNOPSIS A STRANGE DISCOVERY AT HAGGLER’S DEN AUTHOR: ZOEY LING XIAN JUN YEAR: 2012 NUMBER OF PAGES: 33 TYPE: FICTION LANGUAGE: ENGLISH SYNOPSIS: Ellie was hiding from her friend, Tate when she found the haggler ’ s den. It was an old junk shop ran by a mean old lady. When she saw the old lady, she ran away and went home. She told her father about the old junk shop. As they talked, they saw a news about a priceless stolen jar in the television. The jar was old and rare and was worth thousands of dollars. The next day, Ellie went back to the old junk shop with her friend, Tate. The old lady appeared again. They told the old lady that they wanted to buy something for their mothers. Therefore, the old lady showed them around the shop. Ellie suddenly noticed the stolen jar in the shop. She wanted to leave the shop with Tate but Tate refused to leave. A few hours later, Tate ’ s mother called and told her that Tate is missing. Ellie decided to go back to the shop. However, before entering the shop, she called the police and reported about the strange activity. As she entered the shop, the old lady told her that the shop was closed. Ellie heard a scuffling sound, followed by a loud crash. She ran into the room at the back of the shop. Tate was in the room with his hands roughly tied together with old pieces of cloth. The old lady wanted to tie Ellie too but the police officers arrived in time. My opinion about this story is that we must tell the adults about dangerous activities around us and not get involved ourselves. Ellie and Tate may be safe in this story but it wouldn ’t be this easy in real life.
