Agriculture and Farming

Barari

Majority of the forests in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi are administered and managed
by Barari. Barari meaning “wilderness” has come about from the greening the desert
legacy and Barari’s philosophy has a deep-rooted history in the appreciation of nature.

Barari conserves and manages forests, natural resources, landscapes and wildlife using the
state-of-the-art technology while adopting a client strategic partnership approach to maintain
sustainable environment and socio-economic development. Barari currently manages more than
500 reserves and forests covering an area of 24,000 hectares with more than 18 million trees of
different species, including Ghaff, Samar, Arak, Sider, Marakh, Date Palms and Mangroves.

Agriculture and Farming
Al Bustan farms

Established in 1996, Al Bustan Farms is one of the largest Chicken and Quail
production farms in the UAE. Located in the Emirate of Sharjah, UAE, Al Bustan has
a complete range of vertically integrated facilities for breeding, hatching, rearing,
processing and packing with a fleet of temperature controlled transportation
vehicles for distribution.

Digitally controlled incubators, environment control systems, high-tech processing
plant with halal slaughtering procedures and strict quality control has enabled Al
Bustan to become the first exporter from the UAE in its sector. Being an environment
friendly facility, the farm has a complete system to convert waste products into
highly valuable organic fertilizer.

Stone Wings

Stone Wings has become one of the largest fodder production and trading company in the
Middle East. Stone Wings owns two factories in the United States (Washington & California),
and their diversified products are well known for its high quality and reasonable prices, which
has fueled a high demand especially from all GCC countries.

The company has further strengthened its position in the market by forging strategic
partnerships with new factories and suppliers in order to expand and increase its product
offerings.  Besides fodder, Stone Wings also trades in other plant species that suits the animal
needs according to its natural habitat.

Fence International

Incorporated in the year 1997, Fence International is one of the most prevalent,
diversified and largest manufacturers of Fencing Systems in the UAE and
the GCC region. Fence International is also the first manufacturer of
monofilament poly shade nets in the UAE and it takes pride in holding
the stature of having one of the largest market shares in the region.

Fence International houses the latest equipment in the industry
