Since 1981, our not-for-profit Liberty Lutheran
community has served people looking for a great
retirement value.

Our Continuing Care Retirement Community
(CCRC) is a place where you or your loved ones
can live in confidence and security. You won’t
need to sacrifice your independence or the
comforts of home. We know that everyone has
unique needs, which is why Paul’s Run offers a
range of options, from independent living and
personal care to skilled nursing and rehabilitation.

Energy

Our wellness program, Liberty Lifestyles, offers
residents the ability to age successfully and
gracefully by providing a comprehensive firness
program that nurtures and encourages the highest
level of independence while supporting a variety
of needs. Liberty Lifestyles supports residents in
choosing lifestyle habits that maintain or improve
health and functional ability. Liberty Lifestyles offers:
• Fitness assessments using the Senior Fitness test
• Group exercise classes categorized by functional level
• Individual exercise in the exercise room

Independent Living residents can whip up a meal
in their spacious apartment kitchen or dine in
elegant comfort in our formal dining room.

Although each apartment features a cheery full
kitchen, residents are welcome to enjoy restaurant-
style dining in the formal dining room. In fact, the
question we hear most often is, “What’s for dinner?”

Our residents can choose a favorite dining venue,
from fine dining to casual fare in our gleaming
Liberty Grille. We offer a wide variety of chef’s
specials and seasonal culinary delights.

Support

Since 1981, our caregivers have assisted people
who need help with the tasks of daily living.
Caregivers help with your daily routine, including
bathing and showering, taking medications, and
escorting you to community and social activities.
Our staff works hard to surpass the expectations
of our Personal Care residents every day. Nursing
services are available on site 24/7.

Resident-Centered Care

Our emphasis on “resident-centered” care
nurtures each person as an individual whose
daily life has purpose and meaning. Staff
members have received special training to
help caregivers gain insights into the unique
personalities of the residents we serve. We are

Care

At Paul’s Run, our highly trained staff provides
individualized care while encouraging the highest
levels of independence. If you require Skilled
Nursing services, our team of professional nurses
provide 24-hour medical supervision.

Skilled Nursing Care

If you need long-term care, your 24-hour nursing
care will be coordinated with your physician.
Our staff follows an individualized care plan
and conducts ongoing health assessments. You
are encouraged to participate in our recreational
and religious activities, as well as our Liberty
Lifestyles wellness programs.

Rehabilitation

At Paul’s Run, we understand and respect
your desire to return to your greatest level
of independence after recovering from an
illness, injury or surgery. Our nurses and
licensed therapists focus on helping short-term
rehabilitation patients recover successfully and
return home as quickly as possible.

Independent Living

Independent Living at Paul’s Run offers a fine selection of
quality apartment styles in a full-service retirement community
designed to suit your personal lifestyle. Our apartments have

Personal Care

Personal Care at Paul’s Run is designed to provide an enriching,
stimulating environment for those who need assistance with
activities of daily living. Caregivers help with your daily routine,
including bathing and showering, taking medications, and escorting
you to community and social activities. Our staff works hard to
surpass the expectations of our Personal Care residents every day.
Nursing services are available on site 24/7.

Levels of Care

We offer a variety of living options and services to meet the needs of all Personal Care residents:

Assisted: For residents who require moderate support with every day activities. Residents retain
their independence while receiving assistance with tasks such as bathing and dressing.

Supportive: For residents who require moderate to maximum assistance with activities of daily
living, including support with ambulation.

Extended: For residents who require maximum assistance with activities of daily living. This
level of care bridges the gap between personal care and skilled nursing care.

Short-term Rehabilitation Services

At Paul’s Run, we understand and respect your desire to return
to your greatest level of independence after recovering from an
illness, injury or surgery. Our nurses and licensed therapists focus
on helping short-term rehabilitation patients recover successfully
and return home as quickly as possible.
Our qualified staff will coordinate with your physician to create a short-
term rehabilitation program. Patients have therapy sessions available to them
up to seven days a week, including:

• Physical therapy
• Occupational therapy
• Speech therapy

In addition, the nursing team at Paul’s Run is able to manage a variety of clinical needs, including:
• IV antibiotics and other IV treatments
• PICC management
• Oxygen management
• Nebulizer treatments
• BiPAP/CPAP
• Glucose monitoring
• Tracheostomy management and suctioning
• Ostomy management
• G/J tube feedings
• Wound care and VAC dressings
• Pain management

Paul’s Run is proud of its partnership with TripleCare, a telemedicine-based physician group.
Using state-of-the-art technology, TripleCare physicians are able to interview, examine, and treat
patients after hours. This high quality, comprehensive care helps us meet our goal... high ratings
of family and patient satisfaction.
Our short-term rehabilitation accommodations feature private rooms and include cable
television, telephone and Wi-Fi services.
Rehabilitation services are generally covered by your Medicare benefits after a qualifying
hospital stay. Additionally, Paul’s Run accepts a variety of health insurance plans, including
Aetna and Blue Cross.

Nursing Care

At Paul’s Run we’re transforming outdated ideas about long-term
care. We’re committed to developing and supporting systems of
care to meet the physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of
the residents we serve.

The goal of “resident-centered” care is to nurture each individual’s
dignity and freedom. Whenever you want, you can grab a snack or a
beverage in a contemporary kitchen with gleaming countertops and stainless
steel appliances. You can stay up late watching a movie and get up when you
want. We’re creating an environment built around resident preferences, with personalized care
plans, a collaborative leadership approach and consistent staff assignments.

At Your Service

Wellness Services

The Wellness Office at Paul’s Run offers Independent Living
residents services to enhance their optimal health, wellness
and safety. They are dedicated to meeting the changing needs of
our residents. Free services to our residents include an individual
evaluation inclusive of home safety check; blood pressure and weight;
current medical and personal history; and a review of all medications.
Additionally, the professional staff at the Wellness Office are available on a fee-for-
service basis to assist with ongoing health management needs such as assistance with activities
of daily living; a change in health status; medication setups and reminders; discharge from the
hospital or the Healthcare Center; or RN Case Management.

Liberty at Home

Liberty Lutheran’s Medicare-certified, licensed home health agency, Liberty at Home, helps
residents maintain their independence. Liberty at Home can provide skilled medical services,
including nursing; physical, occupational and speech therapies; and other health services
prescribed by a physician. For residents needing additional care, supportive personal care services
can be arranged that enable them to remain living safely and happily in their own home at Paul’s
Run. Liberty at Home is also committed to person-centered care, where services revolve around
one’s preferences, schedule and needs.

Liberty Hospice

Liberty Hospice is available to support residents and families facing end-of-life concerns. The
team of professionals at Liberty Hospice, including registered nurses, hospice nursing aides and
bereavement specialists, are specially trained to meet the unique care needs loved ones may face
at this time. These hospice services can be provided to residents of Paul’s Run, allowing them to
remain in their home here.
