SULAM PROJECT PERIOD

Subject BER4153 offers a project called SULAM for
BELCOM students for one semester. The purpose of
this program is not only to provide awareness but

also to provide knowledge on the importance of
promotion and social media to broaden the

perspective of each individual and also to expand
their general knowledge. My group and I took the
title to promote Havenbyaz in Bandar Baru Bangi,

Selangor.

8. Benefits

How can this project benefit the students, the
university and the community/business?

Among the benefits that will be obtained from this SULAM project is
the issue when faced with the problems of traders because in my
opinion, the SULAM project will have a huge impact because this
project aims to provide a learning experience that connects theory
and practice with real problem solving in the community and based
on love. affection, joy and mutual respect. Through this program a
lot of knowledge can be gained such as practical skills,
communication skills and also digital skills. Such experiences are

very useful in the future for me to communicate or interact with the
community. Most importantly, the project has nurtured

entrepreneurial skills in oneself. This effort will highlight the High-
Impact Educational Practices (HIEPS) approach that gives me a space
to interact with the community and at the same time forge strategic
partnerships with the industry as well as the agencies involved. This

is in line with Malaysia's desire to produce holistic graduates.

9. Project
implementation/

Elaborate on the implementation steps of
the project.

Regarding the presentation of the SULAM project, me and the group
members will start this project in week 9. During the week, we will
record a video that suits the needs that will attract the attention of
the audience. we will also edit the video to add quality and impact

to the audience. Therefore, we use social media as the main
platform to promote our projects. If our project needs to be
improved, we will hold a meeting. Tiktok and Instagram as our main
platforms in presenting and communicating with the audience. We
will provide a lot of interesting slots in this video, as we also want
to deal with young people and the elderly. The reason for doing this
is because we want to make this program fun but at the same time
useful knowledge because this SULAM project has the concept of
'service -based learning' which is a method of teaching and learning

based on experience by serving the community.
