HEART
The heart of Forge Young Adult Ministry is the heartbeat of
Redemption to the Nations Church. A place where the vision
of the house is to be the most loving church in the world. We
execute this in every aspect of what we do here at FORGE. The
heart of FORGE is in tandem with that of the RTTN Family and
there are several core values we ascribe to:
HONOR-We honor and value one another with respect, dignity
and Christ like love.
CULTURE-His Kingdom is our culture. We ascribe to all the
kingdom principles in all we do.
WORSHIP-Worship is our priority and the sound of the house
echoes the Kingdom.
CONNECTION-We were all created to live in community. We
are intentional about providing opportunities for you to
connect one with another.
NUTS & BOLTS
It is important for you to know your role and expectations.
The bible is very clear in what God requires of you. (Micah
6:8"..this is what the Lord requires of you..")
THURSDAY SERVICES- It is expected that ALL serve team
member are checked in by 6:30PM and prepared for Team
Huddle/Prayer 6:40-6:55
DRESS CODE-As representatives of the Kingdom we are
asking that your dress be appropriate and modest. If you
have any doubts about your attire please communicate
with leadership for clarity.
ATTITUDE-Attitudes should reflect service to Christ and the
purpose of the church. You are doing your part in God’s
divine plan.
LEADERSHIP POSTURE- You must represent the TEAM in a
honoring and uplifting manner. Your speech,
communication and honor for leadership and peers is vital
to being a representative of the Kingdom.
FY WHY
AM
SERVE?
FORGE YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY
We are commanded to become servants in the Kingdom, one
to another as a sign to those who do not know God.
Servant leadership is best defined by Jesus Himself: “Whoever
wants to become great among you must be your servant, and
whoever wants to be first must be your slave—just as the Son
of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his
life as a ransom for many” (Matthew 20:26–28).
In the Christian realm, all leadership should be servant
leadership and that is our driving belief on our purpose and
calling to serve the local church to assist in equipping
believers and advancing the kingdom.
A servant leader seeks to invest himself in the lives of his
people so that, as a whole, the church community is
challenged to grow to be more like Christ. This is
demonstrated in the leader’s willingness to give of himself to
meet the needs, but not necessarily the wants, of his people.
Thank you for your heart and willingness to serve in the
capacity that you are desiring and choosing to serve.
