In one of our lives, there are many times when we go to the mall, take a night out, and explore natural attractions countless times. But did you know that there is another attraction that is very interesting? And that is the historical attraction. It would be a pity if everyone missed the opportunity to visit the old buildings, go down the street to eat at a restaurant that has been open for more than a decade, sip coffee in the afternoon at a famous coffee shop, and admire the scenery that blends nature and architecture perfectly. The Reasons Why We Like Songkhla Old Town There are several reasons why we love Songkhla Old Town. First of all, we like the old style of buildings around the town. We enjoy taking a walk and looking at the vintage-style buildings that are full of stories. Second, there are a lot of restaurants and coffee shops there. We saw a lot of local savory restaurants that has been famous for decades and wonderful coffee shops that are popular on the internet. Most of all, there are many fantastic places and important landmarks for us to take pictures. It's a paradise for photographers, and we were one of them. We really took a lot of pictures of different unique and beautiful places. Thus, those are the reasons why we love that place and plan to visit again in the future. Expository paragraph 01
Our favorite part of visiting Songkhla Old Town is its vintage atmosphere. On the left and right sides of our hands, the first thing that we saw when we arrived was a lot of unusual buildings that we couldn't find in any other city. There were numbers on the building that indicated the year it was built, and it had some dirt on it. Next to Hab Ho Hin is the Nakhonnok street that we walked. There was several car past us, and some cars almost hit us. It was very adventurous. Moreover, although the weather was hot and it felt like we were walking in hell, there were still the shadows of old buildings and a big tree on the street that provided shade for tourists. To conclude, the historic feel of Songkhla Old Town impressed us the most. We still remember the time that we went to Café Amazon at Songkhla Old Town. It all started on Wednesday afternoon when we walked into the coffee shop. Next, we were impressed with the beautiful decoration of that place. After thinking for a while, we decided to order four glasses of drinks and one piece of strawberry cheese pie. Then, we chose to sit near the glass window to see the surrounding cafe. When we finished all the food, we went upstairs to see a better view of Songkhla Old Town. We also took a lot of pictures there. Finally, after having fun there, we agreed to leave and go to another place. All in all, our time at Café Amazon was one of our most memorable memories. There are several reasons why we like Songkhla Art Center 2. First, there were numerous masterpieces by various artists. All masterpieces told its own story, and we could learn something from them. Moreover, we were lucky to visit there during the arts & graphic design exhibition 2023 that is presented by Songkhla vocational college. We were stuck by various amazing artworks because we couldn’t stop looking at them at all. All artworks are magical and wonderful, so we took a ton of pictures with them. Most of all, the location of Songkhla Art Center 2 is next to the Songkhla lake. When we walked just 20 steps to go backside, we could see a huge lake and several boats. Even though some people have no interest in old places, Songkhla Old Town is valuable enough to continue to exist. First of all, Songkhla Old Town is a place of historical value. According to the National Park Service, we can learn new things about our history and ourselves from historic sites. Historic preservation is an important way for us to transmit our understanding of the past to future generations. Moreover, old buildings can boost business. The research of Mimi Morris, an executive officer at the California Cultural and Historical Endowment, stated that cultural heritage tourism, an expanding niche of the tourism market, is of clear benefit to communities.Also, Songkhla Old Town has a lot of cultural significance. According to UNESCO Santiago, cultural heritage has the potential to promote access to and enjoyment of cultural diversity. It can also enrich social capital and create a sense of individual and collective belonging, which helps to maintain social and territorial cohesion.In conclusion, Songkhla Old Town has a lot of importance for us as well as the society, so it should continue to exist for sure.
