Chairman Board of Directors
ICNA Relief USA

Letter from Dear Respected Sisters & Brothers,
Executive Director
I pray to Allah (SWT) that He blesses you and your community. Your help and support has
allowed ICNA Relief USA to emerge as a leading Muslim charity, serving thousands of fellow
citizens of all colors and faiths.

Currently, ICNA Relief operates 14 shelter homes, 27 food pantries, 6 free clinics,
and 6 counseling centers across the country. Last year, ICNA Relief’s Disaster Relief Services
responded to 8 disasters, helping impacted communities get their lives back in order. Over
20,000 needy children across the country received new school bags and supplies through our
Back2School Giveaway project. Over 9,000 refugees from Syria, Burma and other places
were supported. More than 2,000 families received rental, utility and funeral assistance.

Our beloved Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) has said, “The person who makes an effort for the
needs of a widow or a poor person will be rewarded like the one who strives in
Allah’s cause, like a person who continually spends his nights worshipping Allah and his days
fasting.” With your support we can be the best ambassadors of Islam in this country of
ours by displaying the compassion and generosity practiced by our beloved Prophet (pbuh).
We look forward to working with you in this regard, God willing.

Maqsood Ahmad

Back 2 School Giveaway

Every year ICNA Relief distributes hope to children in need by giving away backpacks filled with school sup-
plies in lower income communities. Education is the passport to our children’s future success; that’s why
ICNA Relief gives them the tools they need for school. We collaborate with local ICNA chapters and public and
private schools to give back in areas with severe needs.

We’ve given away more than 100,000 backpacks filled with supplies to kids in need
nationwide in the last 7 years. State senators, congressmen and even NFL players
have helped ICNA Relief distribute book bags spanning from Massachusetts to
California.
