Adverbs of freqeuncy

Adverbs that change or qualify the meaning of a sentence by
telling us how often or how frequently something happens are
defined as adverbs of frequency

Adverb (คํากรยิ าวิเศษณ์) คือคําทีใช้ขยาย
verb, adjective, adverb หรอื ประโยค ซึง

มักจะเปนคําทีลงท้ายด้วย -ly อย่างเช่น
quickly, slowly, happily, sadly แต่ก็มี
adverb บางคําทีไม่ได้ลงท้ายด้วย -ly เช่นกัน
อย่างเช่นคําว่า always, never, very, fast

ADVERB OF FREQUENCY มีคําว่าอะไรบ้าง

ADVERB OF FREQUENCY จะแบ่ง
ได้เปน 2 กลุ่ม โดยกลุ่มแรกก็คือกลุ่มที
ไม่ชีชัด (ADVERB OF INDEFINITE
FREQUENCY) ซึงก็คือกลุ่มคําทีไม่ได้
ระบุชัดเจนว่าถีขนาดไหน
แต่จะบอกความถีแค่ครา่ วๆเท่านัน

Adverbs of freqeuncy

Adverbs of frequency แบ่งออกได้ 2 ชนิด ดังนี

1.ชนิดทีเปนคําเดียวได้แก่
always,often, seldom, ever, never, sometimes,
rarely,hardly,generally, scarcely, frequently,
occasionally, usually

2.ชนิดทีเปนกลุ่มคําได้แก่
every tree months, every day, one a week,
twice months,
every other day (วันเว้นวัน), as often as you
wish(ตอนไหนก็ได้ทีคุณต้องการ), several times
etc.

ตําแหน่งในการวาง adverbs of frequency

หากประโยคมีVerb to be เราจะต้องใส่ Adverbs of
Frequency ไปหลัง Verb นัน ๆ

Example:
She is always at home on Sundays.

หล่อนอยู่บ้านเสมอ (ไม่ไปไหน)ในวันอาทิตย์

หากประโยคมีการใช้
MAIN VERB จะต้องใส่ ADVERBS OF
FREQUENCY ไปหน้า VERB นัน ๆ

Example:
He seldom goes to the

cinema.
เขาไม่ค่อยได้ไปดูหนัง

Adverbs of freqeuncy

ถ้าประโยคมี verb ช่วย
(เช่น can, could, may, might, will, would, verb to be ใน
continuous tense, verb to have ใน perfect tense) เราจะใช้
adverb of frequency ไว้ระหว่าง verb ช่วยและ verb หลัก
(verb ช่วย + adverb of frequency + verb หลัก)

Example:
He can sometimes go to see his

girl-friend.
บางครงั ขเก้สามารถไปพบแฟนของเขา

ได้

เราสามารถเติม Adverbs of Frequency ไปหลัง
may, might, can, could และอืน ๆได้ ยกเว้น “have
to”และ“used to” Adverb จะต้องอยู่ด้านหน้าเสมอ เช่น
I always haveto, go to a hospital.

หากเปนประโยคคําถาม ให้เรานาํ Adverb of frequency มาวาง
ไว้หน้า Main Verb

Example:
Do you often stay home?
How you never been to China?

จะเห็นได้ว่า often , never อยู่หน้ากรยิ าแท้
เสมอ

เราสามารถวาง Adverbs of Frequency บางตัวไว้หน้าประโยค
ได้

Example:
We play football occasionally.
Sometimeswe sleep in a classroom

Adverb of frequency บางคําจะมีความหมายเชิงปฏิเสธอยู่แล้ว
เช่นคําว่า seldom, rarely, hardly ever, never การใช้คําเหล่านีใน
ประโยค เราจะไม่ใช้คําปฏิเสธอืน ๆ เข้ามาให้มันทับซ้อนกันอีก

Example:
เราจะใช้ I rarely eat spicy food. (ฉันไม่ค่อยได้กินอาหารเผ็ด)
แต่จะไม่ใช้ I doesn’t rarely eat spicy food.
เราจะใช้ I have never been to Japan. (ฉันไม่เคยไปประเทศญีปุน)
แต่จะไม่ใช้ I haven’t never been to Japan.
