Verb to be สามารถเป็นไดท้ งั้ กรยิ าหลกั และกรยิ าชว่ ย เม่อื เป็นกรยิ าหลกั ใหค้ วามหมายว่า เป็น,อย่,ู คือ ตามดว้ ย
คานาม (Noun) คาคณุ ศพั ท์ (Adjective) และคาบพุ บท (Preposition) ในบทเรยี นนีจ้ ะศกึ ษาเฉพาะ กรณี Verb to be
เป็นกรยิ าหลกั ดงั ตวั อย่างต่อไปนี้

1. ใคร “เป็น” อะไร เชน่ เป็นวศิ วกร เป็นชา่ งเช่ือม เป็นครู 3. ใคร/อะไร “อย่”ู ท่ีไหน เชน่
- Is he a teacher? - Are you at work?
- Are they students? - Are they in the room?

2. ใคร/อะไร มีลกั ษณะ “เป็น” อยา่ งไร เช่น
- Is she beautiful?
- Are they good boys?

4. ส่งิ นน้ั สง่ิ นี้ “คือ” อะไร หรอื ส่งิ ท่ีเอย่ ถงึ คือส่งิ นน้ั ใช่หรอื ไม่ เช่น
- Is it a hammer? - What is it?
- Are they pliers? - What are they?

**Note : (Verb to be + Noun/ Adjective/ Preposition)

ตัวอย่างโครงสร้างประโยค

Verb to do สามารถเป็นไดท้ งั้ กรยิ าหลกั และกรยิ าช่วยโดย ใชใ้ นเหตกุ ารณป์ ัจจุบนั ในประโยค
Verb to do สามารถใชไ้ ดด้ งั นี้

1. ใชเ้ ป็นกรยิ าหลกั ของประโยคแปลว่า “ทา” เชน่
- Does she do housework by herself?
- Do they do homework before going to bed?

2. ใชเ้ ป็นกรยิ าช่วยในประโยคคาถามและปฏิเสธ ใชค้ ่กู บั กรยิ าหลกั ในรูป Infinitive without “to”
เชน่ work, come, do, go เป็นตน้ ถา้ ใช้ do หรอื does เพ่ือบอกเหตกุ ารณป์ ัจจบุ นั และใช้ did บอกเหตกุ ารณ์
ใน อดีต ในบทนีจ้ ะศกึ ษาเฉพาะกรณีเหตกุ ารณท์ ่ีเกิดในปัจจบุ นั ดงั ตวั อยา่ งต่อไปนี้

- Does she work here?
- Do they read the book?
- She doesn’t want to quit the job.

Qualifications:
➢ 4th year students, Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree with GPAX of at least 2.75 in one
➢ of the following majors:
➢ Mechanical/ Aerospace / Automotive
➢ Mechatronics Engineering
➢ Chemical Engineering Electrical ( Power) Engineering
➢ Control / Instrumentation Engineering
➢ Civil Engineering

• Age not over 25 years old

• Good command of spoken and written English.

(TOEIC Score of at least 650 is preferred)

• Ready for upcountry, offshore and overseas assignments.
