Throughout our nation, agencies providing services like ours are struggling. Many have

LifeCare Alliance continues to help thousands
preserve their independence through in-home
and community dining programs.

Meals-on-Wheels Senior Dining Centers
and Carrie’s Café
Meals-on-Wheels provides nourishing food and a daily visit
to homebound older adults and individuals living with a Carrie’s Café, our premiere Senior Dining Center, has been
medical challenge or disability, 365 days a year. We deliver recognized as a national model in congregate dining,

Community Wellness Centers

Wellness services provide health care through community Wellness Centers, located in
areas where residents are underserved, have limited access to health care, or limited
financial resources. Registered Nurses and Registered Dietitians provide assessments,
nursing care, and screening tests, with a focus on education, disease prevention and
management, nutrition therapy, and weight and diabetes management.

Help-at-Home

The Help-at-Home program provides personal care assistants and direct support
care workers who assist with daily living activities, bathing, fall prevention, and basic
household chores. The Help-at-Home staff works with a network of community
contacts to ensure that clients can access appropriate services.

Support Services

Senior PetCare

The Senior PetCare program gives clients the opportunity to care for their companion
pets as they remain independent in their own homes. The program delivers pet food
and supplies directly to clients’ homes through AniMeals routes, as well as provides
in-home and veterinary pet care.

Beat the Heat Fan Campaign

The Beat the Heat Fan Campaign provides box fans to central Ohioans each
summer, helping to prevent heat-related health incidents.

CHORES

Our CHORES support service coordinates home repair projects for clients in
need of safety and health-related maintenance.

with a medical challenge or disability in central Ohio—keeping them safe, independent, and in their own homes, where they want
to be! LifeCare Alliance operates a national model for its programs, leading in volunteer engagement, effective mergers, and social
