INTRODUCTION

The Sarawak Children Festival is The primary purpose of this program
held to introduce to young people, is to approach children of all ages,
especially children, the function including special children with
of the library, which is not only a disabilities, so that they do not miss
place to read, borrow and return out on every program and activity
books, but the library is also a that is organized and can discover
place to explore new technology their interests as well as being one
and increase their creativity with of the platforms to produce a
activities hands-on provided. generation that is knowledgeable
and innovate.
OBJECTIVE

Providing space for children to participate in activities based on
science and knowledge.
Introducing new technology to children.
Encourage library membership among children.
Develop self-confidence and public speaking skills among children
through storytelling activities.
Cultivating interest in reading among children.

EXHIBITION SPACE

A walkway of an exhibition where company/organizations/
individual shows their products/information/hobby. The exhibitor
team will be manning an exhibition stand in the lobby
throughout the program.

MARKET SPACE

In the market space, physical goods are exchanged, and transactions take
place. Retailers are allowed to offer their merchandise along the programs.
This space aims to give opportunities, especially to children, to cultivate an
interest in entrepreneurship themselves.

STORY SPACE

Storytelling is an art. Storytelling uses words to create new worlds and
experiences in a reader or listener's imagination; it can impact human emotions.
The Stories Kingdom brings kids to get accustomed to hearing different words,
syllables, and sounds that may not have normally been heard in regular daily
conversations.

ARTISTIC SPACE

The artistic space is a place where kids are being taught to give
influence their imaginations and use any materials to form their
own masterpieces. This space is organized with arts and crafts,
which is important for staying focused and creative.

PERFORMANCE SPACE

Everyone is a STAR! Performance space is an area where drama, singing, dancing,
and many more exciting talents are being performed. For kids, this space is
important in building and developing self-confidence.

GASTRO SPACE

In gastro space, children will learn to make good & healthy
food for them. No more struggling with a picky eater at
dinnertime! Here are recipes kids are sure to love.

GAME SPACE

Game space help children to work out how to gracefully accept both losing
and winning, and they form a sense of sportsmanship and discipline. It
provides a platform to teach them how to interact with both adults and
children.
Outdoor play keeps kids active and can boost their physical stamina and
fitness. This space also encourages them to continue learning and provides
greater freedom to develop their athletic abilities.

MAKERS & STEM SPACE

Makers & STEM Space provide hands-on, creative ways to
encourage kids to design, experiment, build and invent as they
deeply engage in science, engineering and tinkering.

SPECIAL NEEDS SPACE

Pustaka provides a lifelong education for children and adults
with multiple developmental disabilities.

give children the opportunity to expand their existing experience and realize the dreams and
ambitions of children to become firefighters. Also held is a Colouring Contest.
