Sector’ at the annual Cyprus

Chamber of Commerce and Industry
Business Leader Awards.

Dr Chrysostomides’ long-standing contribution to the financial
and professional services sector was recognised, his legal career
spanning over more than 5 decades. One of Cyprus’ leading
corporate and tax lawyers, Kypros Chrysostomides specializes
in business law generally, human rights law, international and
constitutional law, and has published extensively on all these
subjects. He is particularly known for substantial experience
and expertise in tax law. During the early years of his career, Dr
Kypros Chrysostomides was appointed a research fellow in
Private International Law at the University of Bonn and later
also worked at the European Commission of Human Rights in
Strasbourg.

He is a member of the Cyprus Bar
Association, the Greek Institute of
International Law, the International
Law Association, the International Bar
Association and the European Law
Institute. He was a member of the ICC
International Court of Arbitration for
two consecutive terms, until June 2018.
He is currently a member of the ICC
Commission on Arbitration and ADR,
serving his second term.

Dr Kypros Chrysostomides has been decorated by the
Republic of France in 1991 as an Officier de l’Ordre national
du Mérite and as Chevalier in 2004, and by Greece in 2004
with the Grand Cross of the Order of the Phoenix.
