We were so proud she was our Morah!
Every Hebrew subject she taught came alive

with her excitement and enthusiasm
Her energy was ceaseless!

I hoped to be a Morah like her one day, and now that
I am a preschool director I hope I made her proud

Fast forward many years, and my daughters, Esti and Rikki
did not get to have Morah Drillman as a morah,
but had her as a principal

What wonderful news for us! And my granddaughter
Ahuva had the zechus to have

Morah Drillman’s knowledge and love as well
Too bad it was short lived since Ahuva is only in 2nd grade

A very special message of hakaras hatov I‘d like to express to
Morah Drillman

I have a bunch of daughters that went through TAG
Each of them different from their sisters, ( some “in the box”

some “out of the box”). Morah Drillman loved them all the
same. She treated them all with respect, love, talents, and so

much chochmah. It was because of that, that they each
loved her so.

My oldest daughter was charmed by
her artistic and creative talents

Another daughter loved her chochmah and worldliness
Another daughter was able to clearly see her care,
patience and most of all her fairness

Because of Morah Drillman, I myself learned as a mother
that making your daughter shine and most of all shine
with good middos is the secret of success.

What is most endearing about Morah Drillman is that such a
brilliant woman could still relate to a student that does not
achieve high marks academically, as long as she achieves

high marks in middos tovos.
Morah Drillman the debt owed is great.
Thank you for believing so much in all my girls, causing
them to believe so much in themselves. I hope that we can
repay you with much nachas of true Bnos Melech.

Some of us are parents of talmidos
who were under the tutelage of

Morah Drillman

but all of us were talmidos ourselves in TAG, when Morah
(Ickovitz) Drillman taught in elementary school

Morah Drillman taught our class Navi in 5th, 6th and 7th
grades, and Chumash in 8th grade. Our strong backgrounds

in Navi come from her lessons. Many may know of the
famous Shoftim song that was created by Morah Drillman
together with her 5th grade class - OUR 5th grade class!
What a wonderful experience that was! We can actually still

sing many parts of it and enjoyed recalling it when our
children were learning Sefer Shoftim. We also remember that

Morah Drillman’s artistic talents greatly enhanced our
classroom activities.

In Honor of

Morah Drillman

On the occasion of this very special evening honoring a
Menahales of extraordinary compassion and dedication, we,
the administration, staff, and teachers of the secular studies

division of the junior high school, have been privileged to
work alongside Mrs. Sarah Drillman and watch how a true
leader of young women lays the foundation of Torah living
for a new generation of Bnos Yisroel. On a daily basis, her

gentle nature embraces students as they come to her
seeking advice and guidance, and it is not hyperbole to say
that Mrs. Drillman is held in the highest esteem not only by

her students, but by the parent body as well.
Anyone coming into the junior high school wing of TAG sees

the fruits of such leadership on the beautifully decorated
bulletin boards, and in the relationships between teachers
and students. At the helm of this vibrant ship stands Mrs.
Drillman, quietly and carefully looking out for each student’s
unique best interests. TAG’s extraordinary history has been
made that much richer as a result of the many years Mrs.

Drillman has graced its hallways as a Menaheles par
excellence. She will be sorely missed.

We wish her much bracha and hatzlacha in the new girls
High School in Lakewood, and much nachas and good

health with her family.
