Surindra Rajabhat University

“ People of the Land, Man of the King. ”
Surindra Rajabhat University was first founded as Surin Teachers
College in 1972. At the very early years, the college was very well known for
its success in producing teachers who now work all over the country. Later,
King Bhumibhol Adulyadej, recognized the importance of all 34 teachers
colleges in Thailand. He would like to upgrade them for bigger purposes such
as to produce graduates of other fields, research and social development, and
not focus only on producing teachers like before.

“Moderation in thought is to express one’s opinion and let others speak, then
consider between what they say and what we say, which one is moderation,

which one gets to the point. If not, then correct it. Because if we do not
understand what each other says, we’ll have a fight.” His Majesty made the
above comments in his speech on the occasion of his Birthday Anniversary.

“ Rajabhat ” means “people of the land, Man of the King.” Later on, Surin
