WELCOME

CONGRATULATIONS on your upcoming wedding. I’m so
trilled that you have chosen me to document your special
day. I am based in the Clarence Valley but love to travel
so don’t be afraid to hit me up for a destination wedding.

I married my wife, Jayne in 2010. We have two beautiful,
wild children and the most loyal German shepherd you
will ever meet. When I’m not working you will most likely
find me out and about somewhere beautiful with my cam-
era in hand.

I have a photojournalistic approach & like to stand back &
capture the day as it unfolds. I keep the posing as relaxed
& natural as possible.

I like to work closely with my brides and grooms to un-
derstand their vision for their day. If you haven’t already,
please get in touch to arrange a face to face meeting or
book your engagement session. Its much easier photo-
graphing friends rather than strangers!

YOUR ENGAGEMENT
SESSION

I love engagement sessions! They are a fantastic opportunity
for us to hang out, get to know each other & for you to get
comfortable in front of my lens.

Your session can be held at any outdoor location. I’m always
up for an adventure so don’t be afraid to tell me your crazy
ideas. I’m
always hoping for beautiful light & magical skies so I like to
hold engagement sessions in the 1 & 1/2 hours before sunset.

Each session is unique. Some couples choose to use their
engagement session to show me their wedding location &
walk me through spots where they would like their creative
session to take place. Others use it as an opportunity to cre-
ate memories at
another place that is special to them or choose a location that
is completely different to their wedding theme. Its completely
up to you!

There is no need to have fancy matching outfits, unless you
want to of course. For beautiful results chose simple outfits in
a colour scheme that compliments one another. Avoid clash-
ing patterns and logos. Some clever past brides have ar-
ranged their engagement
session on the same day as their makeup trial. Not only did
they not have to worry about doing their own makeup but
they were able to see how well their makeup photographed.

YOUR BIG DAY

Weddings are so much fun! I have been to plenty, from small
backyard DIY weddings to big resort weddings and every kind
in between. Every wedding is a unique celebration of the cou-
ple.

It’s a long day but at the same time flies by so quickly. The
brides and grooms that get the best results from their wed-
ding photography are the ones that are well organised, where
the bride and groom are able to relax and really enjoy their
day. I really love
capturing the details & the all the little moments so that your
images will retell the events & emotions of the day.

To help ensure your day goes as smoothly as possible I sug-
gest
putting together a timeline for how you would like your day
to
unfold. There are some things that we simply cannot control
such as the weather & wardrobe malfunctions but if every-
thing else is well organised it is much easier to deal with the
surprises that a wedding day can bring.

Delegate any last minute jobs to your friends and family so
that you are free to enjoy preparing for your big day.

Talk to your vendors, particularly your hair and makeup artists
& ensure everyone is aware of their deadlines. Over the page
I have put together a sample photographic coverage timeline
for the
All of me package with a 3pm ceremony during AEST. It’s a
good idea to add in a little extra time as a cushion so if
things start to run behind schedule there is time to catch up
without stress.

The Reception
Time to party! I’ll head in a couple of
minutes before you, let your MC know that
you are ready to make your entrance & be
set up ready to capture it. I will stay to
document all the moments as the night
unfolds - guests enjoying themselves,
speeches, the cutting of the cake, the first
dance plus any wild dance moves. I usually
take off after the formalities but if you
have a spectacular exit planned let me
know & I can stay for that too.

Please only use this timeline as an example - its your big
day & there is so much opportunity to be creative & make
it unique.

Almost every wedding day has unexpected delays - weath-
er events, vendors are late, not enough time is allowed for
travel, family
members disappear before family photos, wardrobe mal-
functions etc. I cannot stress enough how important it is
to be well organised & factor in additional time when cre-
ating your timeline.

AFTER THE WEDDING

Within a week of your wedding day I will post a sneak
peek on social media - I try to do this as early as the next
day but it really depends on my workload and schedule.

Please allow up to 6 weeks for post processing of the en-
tire collection. Images will be delivered to you on beauti-
ful wooden usb’s in both colour & black & white. I will al-
so send you an online link to download your low resolu-
tion images, these will be quicker for you to upload to so-
cial media if you wish share them with your friends and
family. Please only print the high resolution versions.

If your package includes an album you will also be sent
instructions on how to select your images. Once I receive
your final selection I will prepare your album layout for
you to approve online. Once approval is received please
allow 4-6 weeks for your handmade fine art album to ar-
rive.

I use an amazing Australian professional print lab for my
albums. They also offer a wide range of stunning high
quality products
including canvases, acrylic wall mounts, fine art prints and
tiles. Please let me know if you would like a price for a
custom order.
